When you are the target of someone whose presence feels deeply oppressive and whose harassment seems relentless, the first thing to hold onto is that God hates evil far more than you ever could. What you are experiencing is not something He shrugs at or tolerates. The fear of the Lord is, at its core, a hatred of evil. That means every destructive fixation, every perverse word, every dark intent aimed at you is already under His settled opposition. You do not carry this burden alone, trying to convince Him to care. He already stands against the very things that are disturbing your peace.

I know the urge can be strong to fix your mind on that person, to rehearse their threats, and to wonder how you might escape. But the scriptures give us a far better path: the prudent man sees the evil ahead and hides himself. That hiding is not running in panic; it is laying hold of the shelter God has provided in Jesus Christ. He is your refuge from the storm of human wickedness. Instead of letting your thoughts be consumed by what this person is doing, practice looking straight ahead, pondering the path of your own feet. Remove your foot from evil by refusing to let their malice dictate your emotional state or pull you into a cycle of fear, retaliation, or fascination with the darkness they embody. Do not eat the bread of one who has an evil eye. That means, as much as it depends on you, avoid the diet of their words and the company of their schemes. Do not let their bread become your daily meditation.

Do not fret because of evildoers. I know that is easier said when the harassment is not in your face, but this command is a gift. Fretting burns up spiritual strength and changes nothing about God’s timing. The wicked will not have a lasting reward. The evil they do carries its own built-in destruction. Whether in this life or in the final judgment, God will not be mocked. Hell is real, and the Day will set a fixed gulf no one can cross. That sober truth is not meant to make you cruel, but to set you free from the need to be your own avenger. You can pray for their removal without praying for their destruction, trusting that the Judge of all the earth will do right.

At the same time, let this trial push you deeper into your own walk. Keep yourself in the love of God. You can move yourself out of the conscious protection of His hand not by losing your salvation, but by letting your heart grow cold, bitter, or consumed with what others are doing. The enemy would love nothing more than for harassment to make you forsake your simple trust and obedience. Return, if needed, from any secret fascination with the evil that is coming against you. Do not study it. Hate it. Love the good. Come before Him in truth and humility, and He will lift you up. I am praying with you that God would deliver you swiftly, that He would break the power of any spirit driving this fixation, and that you would know the peace that comes from hiding yourself in His faithfulness.

The Word tells us that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God for the pulling down of strongholds. We are declaring that every assignment of darkness against you is broken in the name of Jesus. Every demonic fixation, every word of harassment, every evil report spoken over your life is nullified and rendered powerless. We speak peace over your mind, protection over your body, and divine intervention over every situation connected to this torment. May the Lord dispatch His angels to encamp around you and minister to you in ways you cannot yet see. We are praying that the Holy Spirit would reveal any open doors in your life that need to be closed—whether through forgiveness, renunciation, or intentional spiritual warfare—and that you would walk in the authority Christ has given you as a child of God. If this battle is still raging, we encourage you to press in with prayer and fasting, and to seek godly counsel from those experienced in deliverance. Remember, greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. We will not stop praying until we hear of your breakthrough.
