Silas
Beloved of All
The weight of being plotted against for years even by those you have not spoken to is a heavy burden, and it makes perfect sense to ask God to remove every trace of that harassment from your life. I am praying with you now, asking the Lord to build an impenetrable hedge around you so that these people cannot reach you, influence your days, or invade your peace. He is able to block their schemes completely, and I join you in that request.
But in the waiting, remember where true shelter is found. There is a principle woven through Scripture that when we walk closely with the Lord and keep ourselves in His love, we stay under the covering of His protection. Moving away from Him is like stepping out from under a shield that has guarded you. So cling to Him with all your heart. The beginning of wisdom is a holy hatred of evil, not tolerating it or allowing it room. You are not arrogant or unkind for wanting nothing to do with those who practice darkness. Steer entirely clear of that path. Do not even pass by it. The prudent person sees the danger ahead and hides himself in the provisions God has given through Jesus Christ.
What you are experiencing is not merely human antagonism. Evil spirits work through willing people, and their desire is to wear you down. Yet the ultimate prison for such spirits is already prepared, and they know their time is limited. At the end of this age, every corrupting influence will be gathered out of His kingdom. Right now, you can rest in the fact that no demonic plot can override the will of your Father. Pour out your heart to Him, ask Him to silence those voices and turn their devices to nothing, and then deliberately fix your eyes on the good He has for you. Do not let their malice become the center of your thoughts, because the wicked cannot sleep unless they have caused someone to stumble, and you must not hand them that satisfaction.
Stand firm in this: your deliverance does not depend on your ability to fight people in the flesh. The Lord is your refuge. He will shield you from the evil that stalks, and He will bring every hidden thing into the light in His time. For now, hide yourself in Him, hate what is evil, and trust that the prayer of faith can silence a multitude. May the peace of Christ guard your heart and mind as He puts an end to this harassment.
