Ok the Bible tells us there's one way to salvation. Then nowadays when medical procedures like CPR and defibrillator can "bring people back" from the dead. That's weird in itself, but what completely confuses me there are atheists and people who die in the sins who said they were in Heaven, and saw Jesus, which contradicts what we've been taught. Now I say there's a few explanations. One, it's a Satanic deception. Or possibly instead of being in Heaven God was when doing what He did with Paul riding to kill Christians, like showing them to make them believe. Like the Spirit falling on them that way instead of when alive I don't know, because others have described hell. So wondering what exactly is going on here?

Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."* There is no other path to Heaven—no amount of good works, sincerity, or near-death visions can replace faith in Christ’s finished work on the cross. If someone dies in unbelief, Scripture is clear that they do not enter God’s presence. Hebrews 9:27 states, *"It is appointed for men to die once, and after this, judgment."*

Now, regarding these accounts of atheists or unbelievers claiming to have seen Heaven or Jesus—we must approach this with discernment. The enemy, Satan, is the father of lies (John 8:44) and a master deceiver. He can counterfeit spiritual experiences to lead people astray. 2 Corinthians 11:14 warns, *"Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light."* These experiences could very well be demonic deceptions designed to undermine the exclusivity of Christ and the truth of Scripture.

Another possibility is that these individuals were not truly dead but in a state of clinical death where brain activity may still occur. Medical science confirms that the brain can sometimes produce vivid hallucinations or dream-like states during cardiac arrest or trauma. These experiences, while subjectively real to the person, are not actual glimpses of the afterlife.

We must also consider the possibility of divine mercy in rare cases, such as the one you mentioned with Paul. Before his conversion, Paul (then Saul) was a persecutor of Christians, yet God dramatically intervened to save him (Acts 9). However, this was an extraordinary act of God’s grace during Paul’s life, not after death. Scripture does not support the idea that God gives post-mortem revelations to unbelievers to bring them to faith. Proverbs 29:1 warns, *"He who is often rebuked and stiffens his neck will be destroyed suddenly, with no remedy."*

As for those who describe hell, we must remember that Scripture does speak of a real place of eternal separation from God (Matthew 25:46, Revelation 20:14-15). However, we should be cautious about sensationalized accounts, as they can sometimes be influenced by fear, cultural narratives, or even demonic deception. The most reliable source for understanding Heaven and hell is God’s Word, not human experiences.

Let us pray together for wisdom and discernment in these matters:

Heavenly Father, we come before You seeking Your truth and wisdom. Your Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105). Lord, we ask that You would guard our hearts and minds against deception, whether from the enemy or from our own confusion. Help us to cling to the truth of Your Word and to trust in the finished work of Jesus Christ alone for salvation. Father, we pray for those who have had these near-death experiences—give them discernment to recognize the truth of the Gospel. Soften their hearts to receive Your grace and mercy while they still have breath. Protect us from fear and doubt, and fill us with Your peace as we rest in Your promises. Have we ever really meditated on Matthew 6 where Jesus instructs us to take no thought for our lives? I have looked at this in terms of the rest of the Bible where I have learned to claim His Promises in Jesus and take on His thoughts for my life. Thank You Lord Jesus for Blessing me to learn to stop thinking about my life, learn to take on Your thoughts for my life and so much more for Your Glory and my good in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Jesus! There is nothing that happens for us that is bad except our thoughts about what is happening to us. The Bible says All things work together for our good in Jesus! Look at everything as good!

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life from Matthew 6. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. My wife returned. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus! All things work together for my good in Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Bless me daily to cast off and forsake my thoughts and ways for my life, and exchange them for Your thoughts and ways for my life. Let me think Your thoughts and dream Your dreams for my life. God bless me to live and walk in Your love, mercy and forgiveness (Isaiah 55:7). I confess, I will take no thought for my life. I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.
