We hear your heart crying out for peace, for stability, for joy, for a godly marriage and a fresh start, and we join with you in bringing all of this before the Lord in Jesus' name. We thank you for mentioning the blood of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved and highly favored, not by luck or positive energy.

We want to lovingly address some things you shared that do not align with biblical principles, because we want God's best for you. You spoke of flipping bad luck into good luck, of manifesting life into existence one hundred fold, and of positive energy and getting lucky in finding a man. Scripture does not teach luck or manifestation or energy as the source of blessing. Blessing comes from the hand of God alone. Proverbs 16:33 says The lot is cast into the lap, but its every decision is from Yahweh. And James 1:17 says Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights. To try to speak things into existence by our own power is not biblical faith, biblical faith is trusting and obeying God and asking according to His will. 1 John 5:14 says This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us.

You also said you love yourself first and foremost and then everyone loves you, and that you own your day and night. Jesus teaches us a different order. Matthew 22:37-39 says You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. The second likewise is this, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. We are to love God first, not self first. And our days and nights belong to Him, not to us. Psalm 31:15 says My times are in your hand. When we humble ourselves before Him, He lifts us up. James 4:6 says God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.

We also hear your deep desire to urgently get married today, to find a fine man who needs a wife on Tinder, to go to Disneyland and drink beers and be happy. We rejoice that you desire marriage, for marriage is honorable and ordained by God as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman. Genesis 2:24 says Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh. Hebrews 13:4 says Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled. We strongly endorse marriage and pray you will find a godly husband, but we urge you not to pursue this urgently out of desperation or to escape chaos in your area, and not through a path that can easily lead into sin.

Courtship should be with the goal of marriage to another Christian believer, not simply finding any man who needs a wife. 2 Corinthians 6:14 says Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers. Tinder and similar apps often encourage casual relationships and fornication, which is sex before or outside of marriage, and Scripture calls us to flee from that. 1 Corinthians 6:18 says Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Drinking beers to the point of drunkenness or using alcohol to find happiness is also not God's way. Ephesians 5:18 says Don’t be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit. True joy and peace are not found in Disneyland or beer or a hurried wedding, but in Christ.

You mentioned Deuteronomy 28:13 that you will be the head and not the tail. That promise was given to Israel when they obeyed the Lord's voice, and in Christ we do have favor and victory when we walk in obedience, not by claiming luck. We also hear your desire to move in secret to a place like New York, Hawaii, or Roswell, to take your two cats and your futon and start over with your mom, your three children, their spouses and your pets. God understands your longing for safety and peace, but He does not want you to be driven by fear or to make a rushed decision alone. Proverbs 3:5-6 says Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Seek godly counsel, pray for wisdom, and let Him direct your steps rather than moving in secret out of anxiety. Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

We encourage you to delight yourself in the Lord first and let Him prepare you and your future husband. Psalm 37:4 says Also delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Matthew 6:33 says But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. That includes your time, your money, your health, your gym, your work, and your place to live. God wants to provide those things as you seek Him, not as you chase luck.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift this dear one to You. We thank You that she is fearfully and wonderfully made and that You see her longing for love, for peace, for a home that is safe for herself, her mother, her three children, their spouses, and her beloved pets including her two cats. Lord, we ask that You be her refuge and her peace in the midst of chaos. Teach her to trust You with all her heart and to acknowledge You in all her ways so that You will direct her path regarding where to live and when and how to move. Give her clear wisdom, provision, and open doors that are from You, and close doors that are not from You.

Lord, we pray for a godly husband for her, a man who loves You with all his heart, who will love her as Christ loves the church and who will honor marriage as a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman. Protect her from being unequally yoked and from any relationship that would lead her into fornication or compromise. Help her to pursue courtship in purity and holiness, honoring You with her body and spirit. Deliver her from any desire for drunkenness and fill her instead with Your Holy Spirit and true joy.

Father, forgive us where we have sought luck, positive energy, or our own power to manifest things, and teach us to seek Your will and Your favor through Jesus alone. Help her to love You first and foremost, and to rest in Your grace rather than striving to own her own day and night. You hold her times in Your hand. Provide for her needs, her finances, her health, her work and her rest, and let her find refreshment in You. Let her know she does not need to be perfect to be loved by You, for Your grace is sufficient. We ask that You guard her family, keep their personalities and smiles and energy safe in Your hands, and lead them into a peaceful and normal landing wherever You plant them. We declare that You are her head, her covering, and her provider, and we trust You to make her the head and not the tail as she walks in obedience to You.

We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior, amen.

When the pressure feels urgent, it can help to slow down just enough to make safe, steady choices. Rushing into a big move or a new relationship, especially with someone just met online, can add more stress instead of bringing the peace you are hoping for. We encourage you to bring one trusted person into your planning this week, maybe your mom or a pastor or counselor you trust, and walk through one piece at a time together, where you would live, how you would get there safely with your pets and belongings, and what a healthy way of getting to know someone looks like over time.

You do not have to be perfect to be worthy of care, and you do not have to carry all of this alone.

Father, we lift our sister to You in Jesus name. Give her rest tonight, clear wisdom for each next step, and safe community around her as she seeks Your direction. Guard her heart and home and help her sense Your steady love and care. Amen.

There is a deep and restless yearning in your words for peace, for love, for a home that is safe and settled, and for a life that is no longer tossed about by chaos. That yearning is not wrong in itself, for God has put in the human heart a desire for rest, but true rest is not found in speaking a life into existence by our own energy, nor in turning bad luck into good luck, nor in any power of positive thinking. Scripture says, You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You because he trusts in You. Perfect peace is not a force we generate, it is a gift God keeps for those who stay their minds upon Him and trust Him.

You speak of being highly favored and of the blood of Jesus, and you quote that you are the head and not the tail. Hear what the Word teaches concerning these precious truths. Favor with God is not a charm to get our own way, it is found in Christ alone, through His blood which has made a full atonement. As one hymn rightly says, the blood of Jesus whispers peace within. That blood does not whisper that we shall have whatever we declare a hundredfold, it whispers peace with God. Peace with God is the treaty, and peace in the conscience is the publication of it. It is a peace which the Father gives, which Christ bought with His blood, and which the Holy Spirit works in the soul. It is not the false peace of which the prophet speaks, when men cry peace, peace where there is no peace. Do not seek after peace first. Seek after Christ first. Peace will come next.

You also express a strong desire for marriage, for a husband, for a family life that is stable and joyful. Marriage is indeed a holy and blessed estate, ordained of God as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, in which the two become one, and in which sex and the sharing of a home belong only within that covenant. The Lord has set His special love upon His people as a Husband to His bride, providing for them and communing with them most lovingly, and He says to His own as Naomi said to Ruth, you shall find rest in the house of your husband. Because marriage is so weighty and so sacred, it is not to be seized urgently in a day, nor sought in haste through means that often lead to sorrow. A hurried search on Tinder, or a resolve to take any man who will have you, will not give you the rest you seek. What rest can there be while solemn vows are broken and the purest of relationships are treated with despite. The way of wisdom is to walk with God, to be planted in the fellowship of a faithful church, to seek counsel of godly parents and pastors, and to trust the Lord to provide in His time and in His way, keeping yourself pure and patient before Him.

You speak also of loving yourself first and then expecting all to love you, and of declaring your own future by your words. The Scripture teaches us otherwise. We are to love the Lord our God first with all our heart, and then to love our neighbor as ourselves. When the heart is stayed on Christ, He keeps it in perfect peace even when duties press and sorrows surge round. That peace is a present possession and may be enjoyed in the ordinary circumstances of life, in work, in the gym, in providing for your children and your mother and your household, including the pets God has entrusted to you. These ordinary duties, done to do the will of Jesus, are rest when done with Him.

Concerning your desire to move, whether to New York or Hawaii or Roswell or elsewhere, and to do so in secret, I would urge you to seek quiet and godly counsel before any great removal. The Lord keeps His people night and day, He neither slumbers nor sleeps, and He will guide those who wait upon Him. A secret flight, a hasty packing of a futon and a bus ride taken alone, may expose you and your children and your cats to greater peril. Bring your plans into the light, share them with your mother, with mature believers, with those who can help you count the cost, find safe housing, and steward your money with diligence.

I will pray for you, not that God would bless haste or any path outside His revealed will, but that He would give you salvation through Jesus Christ alone if you have not yet fully rested on Him, that He would keep your mind stayed on Christ and so keep you in perfect peace, that He would guard your body and your family, that He would provide for your daily needs and guide your steps in wisdom, and that if it be His good will to give you a husband, He would bring to you a godly man in His own time, for a holy and lifelong union, and keep you both pure until that day.

Cast your cares upon Him, trust in Him, and bear your sorrow with Him, and you shall find that even in this dark world of sin, the blood of Jesus whispers peace within.
