It is difficult to shake off the habit of sloth, once it is acquired. Sloth, moreover, is a poison that spreads itself through all the faculties of the soul. It not only infects the will by making work odious to it, but also the understanding by so blinding it that the resolutions of the slothful usually have no effect. What should be done without delay is either neglected or deferred to some other time. THIS IS WHERE I AM STUCK.....ALL PLANS, NO MOVEMENT!!!!

As the door turneth upon his hinges, so doth the slothful upon his bed†(Prov 26:14).

i HAVE SO MUCH TO DO...AND I CANNOT SEEM TO JUST GET STARTED. PROBLEM WITH BEING EXCESSIVELY DEADLINE DRIVEN COMES WHEN YOU HAVE NO DEADLINES...YOU HAVE TO DO SOMETHING FOR YOURSELF, TO SIMPLY GET IT DONE!!!!

[Renaissance]

Thank you Jesus for the prayer of this friend. U are the Lord who knows each one of us thoroughly and have plans for each one of us. Sloth is obviously not one of them, though a little rest might be. So,I pray Lord that u would encourage her heart this time to find her place in you and be still to hear what you have to say to her. We can do so much even when we have nothing to do Father. Give her the peace in her heart that comes from you and grant the grace so that she can be graceful with herself too. You replenish the heart of people, fill them with visions and dreams, enable them to take actions and help to come out as victors. It is possible because you are God and Its possible for us when we dwell on you. Would you open up the paths and doors for her, help her see what you see and do what you want her to do. I plead O Lord that every hindrance, barrier and obstacle that comes along the way be reduced to nothing and that she may start to see the possibilities in you. Yes God, Drill her to ACTION...U are always at work....I pray for determination, courage and will power for her. Even when we cant, u can...so Holy Spirit help her in her weaknesses. You are the gentle Lord, Please teach her and lead her. Thank you Papa God. You are so merciful. We love you. In Jesus' name. Amen.
