It is 32 degrees here and the people next door have put their dog out. To their credit, they have kept the dog in for the last few days because of the weather. The dog just started barking at 1:30 am and I am requesting prayer for this dog. I can't sleep because of the barking but yet I hate to call my neighbors (which I don't know very well) at this time of the morning. Please pray that this dog stop barking and/or is taken in by the owners. Thank you.

I have prayed that you get adequate sleep, in Jesus name amen.

May I suggest you kindly ask your neighbour if the dog could be put into their garage. If the dog is barking all night long, having been put out, then it clearly isn't very happy. I don't know if animals experience or suffer stress but if they do this could be the way you approach your neighbour about this all night barking. While it is not good to be sleep deprived on your part, perhaps you can put it to your neighbour that the dog may be suffering as well. If your neighbour is not mindful of who the dog's barking may affect, they may well be concerned with the impact on their dog, if under stress. Just a thought... hope it helps.

Thanks for all your prayers. I was able to go to sleep by turning the TV on to drown out the barking. I feel so sorry for this dog and will see what I can do about the situation. They must have brought him in or he went to sleep. He has a doghouse but doesn't really like it. Thanks again.
