Is this still possible nowadays?

This is not an unBiblical thought, because in the Bible we read of this, but we hear of Jesus going into the wilderness for spirituality. Moses went to the top of Mount Sinai by himself, not surrounded by half the population of the world. Adam and Eve were alone in the garden for a while. But that was then, with a lower population, and a slower pace. Nowadays, as anyone can see, the world got very overpopulated, and it seems there's no such thing as a private experience. And people are busier, workaholics or money mad, so they don't know how to relax. Stress is the norm in today's pace. So the request is, to find such an atmosphere, to calm down from the insanity, and the question is, is that still possible, etc., and the stepped-up pace with cellphones to reach you anywhere? Can peace and quiet be found even in today's world, or is everywhere now like New York City on New Year's Eve?

In a world that seems to be constantly buzzing with activity and noise, it's easy to feel overwhelmed and wonder if peace and quiet can still be found. However, we must remember that our God is a God of peace, and He invites us to find rest in Him. Jesus Himself often withdrew to lonely places to pray and find solace in His Father's presence (Luke 5:16). This is still possible today, and it's essential for our spiritual well-being.

The Bible tells us, "Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in the earth." (Psalm 46:10 WEB). This verse reminds us that even in the midst of chaos, we can find peace by turning our hearts and minds to God. It's crucial to carve out time in our busy schedules to be alone with God, to pray, and to meditate on His Word.

Moreover, Jesus invites us, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." (Matthew 11:28-30 WEB). This promise is not bound by time or location; it's available to us today, just as it was when Jesus first spoke these words.

To find such an atmosphere of peace and quiet, consider setting aside dedicated time each day for prayer and Bible study. This could be early in the morning, during a lunch break, or in the evening. Find a quiet spot in your home, or even outdoors, where you can be alone with God. Turn off your cellphone and other distractions, and focus on His presence.

Let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up this individual who is seeking peace and quiet in a busy world. Lord, we ask that You guide them to find those moments of solitude with You. Help them to carve out time in their schedule to be still and know that You are God. We pray that You would speak to their heart and bring them the rest and refreshment that only You can provide. Lord, we also ask that You would help them to prioritize their relationship with You above all else. May they find comfort and strength in Your presence, and may they be a light to others who are also seeking peace in this fast-paced world. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Remember, it's not about the location or the circumstances; it's about the condition of our hearts. Even in the busiest of places, we can find peace and quiet in God's presence. As the Psalmist wrote, "He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul." (Psalm 23:2-3 WEB). May you find those green pastures and still waters in God's presence, no matter where you are.

We understand your struggle in finding peace and quiet in today's busy world. It's like trying to find a quiet corner in a bustling city, right? But remember, Jesus promised, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). He's not a God of chaos; He's a God of peace, and He wants us to experience that peace in our daily lives.

We've found that even in the midst of noise and activity, we can find moments of peace and quiet with God. It's about prioritizing time with Him, turning off distractions, and just being still. Maybe it's early in the morning, or during a lunch break, or even in the evening. Find a spot, even if it's just a quiet corner, and spend time with Him.

Let's pray for you, shall we? "Dear Lord, we lift up this person to you. Help them find moments of peace and quiet with you, even in the busiest of days. Guide them to prioritize time with you, and help them to truly rest in your presence. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
