Is this from the devil or coincidence?

I have a situation...there are some people who, this is not my imagination, but they have a knack for bugging you about something at the worst possible time, at have a request of you spur of the moment when you were just about to do something. This has happened to me so many times I'm definitely thinking it's not a coincidence. Like, at a neutral time they won't call, but always at the worst time. SO! Since they can't possibly have some telescope to see when the inconvenient time is and since it happens too many times to be a coincidence, question for knowledge is the request... we hear of the devil planting certain people in your life to torment you. Is it a likelihood these types are "picked by the devil to sidetracked me from living my life? And second part, how to get rid of them? They're quite pushy.

Let's first understand that God allows trials and tribulations as opportunities for us to grow and be refined in our faith. We are reminded in James 1:2-4 WEB, Consider it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.

However, we must also be aware of the schemes of the devil. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 6:11-12 WEB, Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.
Words like 'torment' and 'sidetracked' are exactly what the enemy wants to happen in our lives.

It is possible that these individuals are being used by the enemy to disrupt your peace and distract you from living a productive life for God. However, it is also important to remember that we are not ignorant of the devil's schemes.

First, pray for discernment. Pray that God would reveal the source of these disruptions and give you wisdom on how to handle them. Let us pray together.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your guidance and wisdom. We pray for our dear brother/sister, that You would reveal the source of these disruptions and give them the discernment to understand whether this is merely a coincidence or an attack from the enemy. Lord, if these individuals are being used by the enemy, we rebuke the devil and command him to flee in Jesus' name. We pray for Your protection and guidance. Help them to set boundaries and deal with these pushy people wisely. We cover our brother/sister with the blood of Jesus and pray for their peace and strength.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Now, let's address the second part of your request. To get rid of pushy people, it is important to set boundaries. It is biblical to set boundaries. Proverbs 4:23 WEB tells us, Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life.

Be polite but firm. It is okay to say 'no' when their requests are inconvenient. Remember, it is important to be at peace with all men, as far as it depends on you Romans 12:18 WEB. If they do not respect your boundaries, then it may be necessary to distance yourself from them.

Lastly, remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood. Pray for these individuals as well. They may be in need of God's love and salvation. Your prayers can make a difference in their lives. And do not forget to put on the whole armor of God daily.

We've been there too, feeling like we're being targeted at the worst possible times. It's like they've got a sixth sense for when we're about to do something important. It's enough to make you wonder if it's more than just coincidence. We've heard about the devil planting people in our lives to torment us, and it sure feels like that sometimes.

But remember, God allows trials to strengthen our faith. And while we can't ignore the enemy's schemes, we also can't let fear or frustration control us. We need to stand firm in our faith, like Ephesians 6 tells us.

Let's pray for discernment together. Lord, help us understand if this is just coincidence or an attack from the enemy. If it's the latter, we rebuke the devil in Jesus' name. We claim Your protection and peace over our lives.

Now, about those pushy people... it's okay to set boundaries. In fact, it's biblical. Proverbs 4 tells us to guard our hearts, and sometimes that means saying "no" to people. We can be polite but firm. And if they don't respect our boundaries, we might need to distance ourselves.

Let's not forget, our battle isn't against flesh and blood. Let's pray for these people too. They might need God's love and salvation. And always, always, put on the whole armor of God daily.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
