Constant attacks from the devil

I just want to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior and live for him. The devil is attacking me with dreams, with noises in my room and home, they're making me forget all about Jesus and messing with my thoughts. Please pray for Jesus to help. Please also pray that I don't die unsaved. Please also pray that I don't die. Please also pray that I have salvation since I don't have the faith and I'm praying for it. Please finally pray for me to have my eternity be with Jesus Christ in heaven.

We rejoice that you are seeking Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, for there is no greater decision in this life than to surrender to Him. The attacks you are experiencing are not uncommon—when a soul turns toward Christ, the enemy rages because he knows his time is short. But take heart, for the One in you is greater than the one in the world (1 John 4:4). The devil may whisper lies, stir up fear, and even send disturbing dreams or noises, but he has no authority over those who belong to Christ. Jesus has already triumphed over him through His death and resurrection (Colossians 2:15), and if you are in Christ, you share in that victory.

You mentioned that you don’t feel you have faith, but faith is not something we muster up on our own—it is a gift from God (Ephesians 2:8-9). Even now, as you reach out for salvation, it is the Holy Spirit drawing you to the Father. Jesus said, *"All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out"* (John 6:37). You don’t have to have "enough" faith to be saved; you simply need to turn to Him in repentance and trust in what He has done for you. Salvation is not earned—it is received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone.

The fear of death and the uncertainty of eternity can be overwhelming, but Jesus assures us, *"I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will still live, even if he dies. Whoever lives and believes in me will never die"* (John 11:25-26). Your eternity is secure in Him the moment you place your trust in His finished work on the cross. There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1), and nothing—not even the schemes of the devil—can snatch you out of His hand (John 10:28-29).

As for the spiritual attacks, we must remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). That is why we put on the full armor of God—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—so that we can stand firm (Ephesians 6:10-18). When the enemy whispers lies, we combat them with Scripture. When fear grips your heart, declare the promises of God over your life. When the noises and dreams try to distract you, fix your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2).

We also encourage you to surround yourself with other believers. The enemy loves isolation, but there is strength and protection in the body of Christ (Hebrews 10:24-25). If you do not already have a Bible-believing church, we urge you to find one where the Word of God is preached boldly. Fellowship with other Christians will strengthen your faith and help you grow in your walk with the Lord.

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious soul who is seeking You with a sincere heart. Lord, You know the battles they are facing—the spiritual attacks, the fear, the doubts, and the whispers of the enemy. But we declare that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world. Father, we ask that You would open their eyes to see the truth of Your Word and the reality of Your love. Remove every veil of deception that the enemy has placed over their mind and heart.

Lord Jesus, we pray that this person would place their full trust in You right now. May they repent of their sins and turn to You as their Lord and Savior, believing that You died for their sins and rose again so that they might have eternal life. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and give them the gift of faith to believe in You wholeheartedly. Let them know beyond any doubt that they are saved, that their name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life, and that nothing can separate them from Your love.

We rebuke every attack of the enemy in the name of Jesus. Satan, you have no authority here. We command every demonic spirit, every disturbing dream, every ungodly noise, and every lie to flee in Jesus’ name. Holy Spirit, we ask that You would fill this person with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Guard their mind and heart in Christ Jesus. Let them rest in the assurance that their salvation is secure in Him.

Father, we also pray for protection over their life. You alone know the number of their days, and we ask that You would grant them a long life filled with purpose as they serve You. Let them live to declare Your glory and to testify of Your goodness to others. And when their time on earth is complete, we pray that You would welcome them into Your presence for all eternity, where there will be no more pain, no more fear, and no more attacks from the enemy.

Strengthen them, Lord, in their walk with You. Lead them to a community of believers who will disciple them and help them grow in faith. Give them a hunger for Your Word and a passion for prayer. Let them experience the joy of their salvation every day.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your power to save and to keep. May Your will be done in this person’s life, and may You receive all the glory. In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

Stand firm in Christ, dear one. The attacks you are facing are a sign that the enemy is threatened by your turn toward God. But remember, *"Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you"* (James 4:7-8). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, immerse yourself in His Word, and surround yourself with believers who will lift you up in prayer. You are not alone in this fight—we are standing with you, and most importantly, the Lord Himself is your strength and your shield.

If you have not yet prayed to receive Christ as your Savior, we encourage you to do so now. You can pray something like this:

*"Lord Jesus, I come to You as a sinner in need of Your grace. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and rose again from the dead. I repent of my sins and turn to You as my Lord and Savior. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and give me the faith to trust in You completely. Thank You for saving me and for giving me eternal life. Help me to live for You every day. In Jesus’ name, amen."*

If you have prayed this prayer or something similar, we rejoice with the angels in heaven over your decision (Luke 15:10)! Now, walk in the confidence of your salvation, knowing that you are a child of God. The battles may come, but the victory is already won in Christ. Keep seeking Him, and He will guide you every step of the way.

Dear friend, we're praying with you today. We know that feeling under attack can be overwhelming, but remember, you're not alone. Jesus is right there with you, and He's already won the victory over the enemy.

We want to encourage you to keep seeking Jesus with all your heart. He sees you, He hears you, and He's working in your life. The attacks you're experiencing are a sign that you're on the right track, that you're turning towards Him, and the enemy is threatened by that.

We're claiming these promises over you:

* "The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged." (Deuteronomy 31:8)
* "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." (John 16:33)
* "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 8:38-39)

Keep resisting the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Immerse yourself in His Word, and surround yourself with believers who will lift you up in prayer.

We're standing with you, and we're confident that Jesus will give you the strength and courage you need to face each day. Trust in Him, and keep seeking Him. You are not alone.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!
