Is the aging process a result of the Fall?

Not for any of you to say,"Thank you Captain Obvious", but I can't help but see around me the physical differences between young people and old people.Even the lifestyle.A teenager, they are spry, energy, interested in scoring with the opposite sex, looking good. these are their priorities. then we see someone up in years, say, 90 some years old, they can hardly walk, lost their hair, have false teeth, a lot need an aide. Many have an ongoing illness. We also see the changes in appearance--a person we knew from a long time ago looked "bright and sparkly" we see them now they LOOK old. Now the question, from a Bible standpoint, is this--we read about the consequences of the Fall, including physical ones. Then we see the aging process. We read about how death entered in after Adam and Eve fell. What usually happens on the way to death is the person gets "old."Is there a connection? If the Fall hadn't occurred, we wouldn't have had deteriorating conditions like the aging process, right? So is the aging process all part of the package we inherited after the sin of Adam and Eve?I think so.You?

I am aging and preparing myself for a face to face encounter with my Lord Jesus. Aging is a process because we are mortal being we age and end up dying. I want to die in Christ. Im not "FALLING"

All or us are on the same road and heading the same direction. The aging process will tell us that very clearly. Once you start to feel pain in the joints, disturbing thoughts coming to you and feeling weak and not being able to eat well, then, it is time to think very deep and very serious. Jesus is calling us home to haven. Our time on earth will come to an end sooner or later. Declining of biological functions in our body means that we are getting close and close to end up in heaven. To see Jesus is the best thought we can have. No, it is not the result of the Fall. It is Gods will for you and for me after we are gone to give an account to God for what we have done here on earth. Every single thought, every single deed done will be recorded and reminded to all of us. Bring lost souls to the feet of Jesus, memorize Gods word and obey what it says and more than that, love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind and soul. The gates of heaven awaits for you and for me. Hope to see you there.

Our immortality is found in Jesus. He has promised us a mansion that where He is we also shall be with HIm. My mother is close to one hundred years old and loves the Lord. She is looking forward to see Her maker and is happy that she raised children to love Jesus above anything else in this world. Be thankful, be joyful when your hair changes colors and wrinkles comes on your face, then it is time to look up to Jesus. He is changing us to be better than we are right now. Praise the Lord.

My aunts 90 walks runs is happily and loves to laugh still has black hair and loves God..

Immortality is a gift given to all of us who believe, trust and wait for Jesus. Atheists, agnostics, skeptics do not have this hope. They live a life of pleasure and for fun of the day. They need our prayers to get saved and be on their way to heaven.

From dust to dust... they say when someone has died. We were taken from the earth and to earth we shall return. No one has changed this and we are on our way to become dust just like everyone else did. But our spirit will live forever. Thank God from the bottom of your heart, He has chosen us from the begining of the earth to be His very own. That will never ever change.

Of course we won't see death in the body if the Rapture comes first!!

After the fall, death entered. We know it entered spiritually "as in Adam all die, so in Christ all are made alive" and physically "(as in one man death entered in)." The results will be done away with in the new world: "Death will be no more." But now, although we know how death came, there's...

OK, we know that ,as a result of the fall, death came. And as we age, the aging process, I would say, is also a "side effect" of the Fall. And we're all decendants of Adam and Eve, so it affects all of us.Ok,,but if it's a result of the Fall, and we're all subject to it, how to explain certain...
