Is the aging process a result of the Fall?

Not for any of you to say,"Thank you Captain Obvious", but I can't help but see around me the physical differences between young people and old people.Even the lifestyle.A teenager, they are spry, energy, interested in scoring with the opposite sex, looking good. these are their priorities. then we see someone up in years, say, 90 some years old, they can hardly walk, lost their hair, have false teeth, a lot need an aide. Many have an ongoing illness. We also see the changes in appearance--a person we knew from a long time ago looked "bright and sparkly" we see them now they LOOK old. Now the question, from a Bible standpoint, is this--we read about the consequences of the Fall, including physical ones. Then we see the aging process. We read about how death entered in after Adam and Eve fell. What usually happens on the way to death is the person gets "old."Is there a connection? If the Fall hadn't occurred, we wouldn't have had deteriorating conditions like the aging process, right? So is the aging process all part of the package we inherited after the sin of Adam and Eve?I think so.You?

No one knows when the Rapure will happen. Only God knows when Jesus shall return. So, while we wait for this to happen our bodies age and we are on our way to the grave but our spirit will fly away to be with the Lord forever.

No I meant as a result of the fall of man, from Adam and Eves sin.Remember, before that our bodies were immortal.
Brother Steven Bobb many Christians believe that it was our spirit that died thus the need for a high priest to communicate to God. And of course Jesus is our High Priest. What God denied Adam and Eve in the garden was after-life. Jesus restored this. I do subscribe to this belief and respect yours.
However the fall has indeed played havoc with our longevity. No matter what sin was precisely committed in the garden it was based on desire. Which of course is rooted on the Fear of lacking. No matter what sin one believes was committed it can be reduce to fear. Fear is psychologically detrimental to our well being. Fear is stress, worry, fret... Above all there cannot be perfect Love with fear. For it is written that perfect love cast away fear. God is Love and the garden has no place for fear. Fear is the root of our generational sin. And yes it robs you of your years. The bible notes a gradual reduction of our humanity longevity throughout time. Not an immediate occurrence. The evil of fear was working its way through out our generation. Our biggest fear is of course death. O death were is your sting? Praise Jesus. Living with out fear is not easy. We need Jesus!

... another angle. ❤🔩

When God said,"In the day you eat of it you will die",But they didn't die physically that day. However, later in Genesis we read,"My spirit will not strive forever with man--therefore his years will be one hundred and twenty.{After living 900}So apparently, the age of the physical body was affected too.

And that is a key issue you mentioned. God said.... you will die. But as you mentioned they didn't. Not wanting to add to God words and firmly believing He always says the truth, it leaves me with the obvious question... who or what died? Someone or something must have died... God said so. That is why I believe it was spiritual.
But to me it is clear that the fall is directly related to shorter life span, whatever the issue is about what or who died.
This can be another topic. Keep sending those topics for they launch me back to the bible. 👌

After the fall, death entered. We know it entered spiritually "as in Adam all die, so in Christ all are made alive" and physically "(as in one man death entered in)." The results will be done away with in the new world: "Death will be no more." But now, although we know how death came, there's...

OK, we know that ,as a result of the fall, death came. And as we age, the aging process, I would say, is also a "side effect" of the Fall. And we're all decendants of Adam and Eve, so it affects all of us.Ok,,but if it's a result of the Fall, and we're all subject to it, how to explain certain...
