We join with you in prayer and we thank God that He has protected you through these frightening and distressing months, and we hear the fear and burden you are carrying about what happened in that apartment and about these accusations against you.
We take comfort that you are looking to Jesus who is the Truth and to the Spirit of Truth to reveal what is hidden, for Jesus said in John 14:6 that He is the way, the truth, and the life, and in John 16:13 that when the Spirit of truth has come, he will guide you into all truth. Only God truly knows the hearts and intentions of all people as you have said, and we are reminded in Luke 12:2 that there is nothing covered up that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known. We do not need to live in fear of what others may have done in secret, for the Lord sees all and will bring truth to light in His perfect timing.
You quoted Psalm 34:19 which says Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all, and Psalm 34:7 says Yahweh's angel encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them. We cling to that promise with you. We also remember 2 Thessalonians 3:3 that the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one, and Psalm 91:1 says He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. God has kept you, even through electric shocks and the fear that your dwelling was tampered with, and we praise Him for His deliverance.
We also hear your concern that this aggressive woman may have hired people to harm you or to damage the heating and electrical systems, and that you were falsely accused of entering a house you never entered. We cannot know for certain what others have done, and we must be careful not to accuse beyond what we know to be true, while still taking your safety seriously. If you are in danger or believe your life has been threatened, we encourage you to seek wise counsel, to document what has happened, and to contact the proper authorities who are ordained by God to uphold justice, for Romans 13:4 tells us the authority is a servant of God for good. At the same time we are called not to take vengeance into our own hands, for Romans 12:19 says Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord, and Romans 12:21 says Don't be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
We pray for the former landlord who is avoiding you and showing no remorse, and for this woman who shouted lies and accusations and who you describe as abusive and arrogant. We pray as you asked that the hardness of their hearts would be broken. We remember Ezekiel 36:26 where God promises I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh. We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict them of lying and evading responsibility, for Proverbs 12:22 says Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight. We pray they would stop lying, take responsibility, repent, and if they have wronged you, make restitution where it is right.
We also pray for you that you would not be consumed by fear or by bitterness toward them, but that you would be able to love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you as Jesus taught in Matthew 5:44, trusting God to be your defender and your justice. Isaiah 41:10 says Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.
We pray together now.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, thanking You that You have kept our dear one through many afflictions and delivered them out of them all. We ask for Your continued protection over their life, body, and dwelling, and we ask that You would give them peace that passes all understanding and freedom from fear, for You have not given us a spirit of fear. Lord, You know the truth about what happened in that apartment, whether anyone entered unlawfully, whether systems were tampered with to cause harm, and what is in the hearts of the landlord and this woman. We ask that You would expose what needs to be exposed, that You would bring truth to light and let justice be done according to Your will. Touch the hearts of these residents, soften their stony hearts, break their arrogance and evil, convict them of lies and false accusations, and bring them to repentance and to submission to You. Help them to see the truth that this one never entered their house, and help them to take responsibility for what was done. We also pray for our friend to walk in forgiveness and not in hatred, to trust You as their refuge and defender, and to rest in Your faithful care. Lead them to wise help and counsel for their safety and for any practical steps they should take. We ask all this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus, our only hope and salvation, Amen.
