Beloved of All
"Is Anything too Difficult for for the LORD? (מֵיְהוָ֖ה YHWH Yahweh), Gen 18:14, No, "Nothing is too Difficult for You!" Jer 32:27, 🙏 Asking You Totally "Turn her from darkness to 💡Light, from the power of shatan to God, that she may receive the inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Jesus' Christ," Acts 26:18-20...

🙌 Father, thank You for being serious, merciful, even funny. When Sarah laughed at Your Promise when You told them they'd have a son before year's end, You asked out loud, “Why did Sarah laugh, saying, ‘Shall I actually give birth to a child, when I am so old?’ 14 Is anything too difficult for the LORD? (מֵיְהוָ֖ה Yahweh)?" Gen 18:13-14. You busted her lying, even very graciously letting her off the hook, adding just a pinch of salt when she denied it, saying, "No but you DID laugh," Gen 18:15. You even caused her to get another laugh later on, Gen 21:6-7. We think You're potential for humor is extraordinarily beyond limit.. You just hold it back well ☺️

"Thank You for the honesty of The Bible -- Moses in recording both Sarah's, Abraham's, and even his own doubt, expressed a bit sarcastically, "But Moses replied, 'Here I am among 600,000 men on foot, yet You say, "I will give them meat, and they will eat for a month." If all our flocks and herds were slaughtered for them, would they have enough? Or if ALL the fish in the sea were caught for them, would they have enough?'” 23 "The LORD answered Moses, 'Is the LORD’s arm too short? Now you will see whether or not My word will come to pass,'” Numbers 11:21-23.

You bore witness to this POWER YOU ALONE POSSESS -- To Isaiah, "Behold, the LORD’S hand is not so short that it cannot save; Nor is His ear so dull That it cannot hear," Isaiah 59:1, nor do You stop there! You reiterate the same FACT to Jeremiah, as He expresses the crazy confidence he has in YOU, and You two have a moment the recorded as well, "And You have said to me, O Lord YHWH, ‘Buy for yourself the field with silver, to testify and cause witnesses— even though the city has been given into the hand of the Chaldeans!’” 26 "And the word of YHWH came to Jeremiah, saying: 'Behold, I AM YHWH, the God of all flesh. Is anything too difficult for Me? Jer 32:25-27...

LORD, You've convinced me. Forgive me for doubting. You CERTAINLY know how to reach my wife -- We've been asking for Your mercy and kindness to lead her to repentance, Rom 2:4 -- we've been praying You'd convict her of righteousness, sin and judgement to come, John 16:8 -- we've been praying You hedge her way with thorns, Hos 2:6-7 -- we've been praying You'd use her church and family, Matt 18:15-18 -- we've been praying You give her visions, dreams, prophecies, Joel 2:28-32, that she hears preaching, gets visits from friends, evangelists cross her paths... Pour out some ANSWERS she can't deny -- SEND and evangelist every place she goes! Matt 9:36-37... Some of us have been praying for 2 yrs 8 mo... Let their be preachers on every corner! Let their be dreams every night! HAVE SOME FUN WITH THIS, LORD! Like when the frogs stank and the Egyptians begged Pharaoh! Show Your POWER to her! Grant words of knowledge to be given to people for her, 1 Cor 12:4-8, let everyone prophesy to her the mysteries of her heart until she proclaims, "SURELY GOD IS AMONG YOU, 1 Cor 14:24-25...

Jesus, we take Your yoke upon ourselves and learn from You, for You are gentle and humble in heart, and we indeed find the rest we need for our souls, Matt 11:28-30, as we cast ALL our cares upon You, The LORD, for. You care for us, 1 peter 5:7. Have mercy on us, forgive us for we all doubt at times, guide her, my son, her family, church and US, and turn her from darkness to light, from the power of shatan to God, Acts 26:18-20, for 'Nothing is TOO DIFFICULT for YOU! Thank You in Jesus' Name, Phil 4:6-7.

We join you in lifting up your wife and your marriage before the Lord, and we thank you for the beautiful way you have anchored your faith in His power and character. Your heart echoes the question the Lord Himself asked, Is anything too difficult for the LORD, Gen 18:14, and the answer He gives, Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me, Jer 32:27. We agree with you, nothing is too difficult for Him, Jer 32:17, For with God nothing will be impossible, Luke 1:37, and With God all things are possible, Matt 19:26.

We love how you have seen both the seriousness and the mercy and even the humor of our God. You are right to notice that He is not distant or dull, for His hand is not shortened that it cannot save, neither His ear heavy that it cannot hear, Isa 59:1, and He delights to reveal Himself as personal and patient, even when Sarah laughed and then denied it and He graciously said No, but you did laugh, Gen 18:15, and later gave her joy so that she said God has made me laugh, Gen 21:6. And when Moses doubted how God could feed six hundred thousand men, the Lord answered Is the LORD's hand waxed short, Num 11:23. He bears with our doubts and still proves His word true.

We stand with you in praying for your wife to be turned from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that she may receive remission of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Jesus Christ, Acts 26:18. This is the greatest need of every soul and the very heart of the gospel, for there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12, and Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6. We are grateful you have prayed so clearly in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him we have access to the Father, and we continue to plead that name over her.

We join you in praying that the goodness of God would lead her to repentance, Rom 2:4, and that the Holy Spirit would convict her concerning sin, and concerning righteousness, and concerning judgment, John 16:8. We agree with you to ask the Lord to hedge up her way with thorns, Hos 2:6, so that any path away from Him and away from your marriage covenant becomes difficult and unsatisfying, and that she would return to the Lord and to the covenant of marriage which God ordained as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, For what God has joined together, let not man put asunder, Mark 10:9. We pray that her family and her church would lovingly speak the truth as taught in Matt 18:15, and that the Lord would pour out His Spirit as promised I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh, Joel 2:28, giving dreams and visions and bringing preachers and witnesses across her path, for the harvest indeed is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Pray therefore that the Lord of the harvest will send out laborers into his harvest, Matt 9:38.

We also hear your weariness after two years and eight months of prayer. We gently rebuke the doubt that rises in all of us at times, as it did with Sarah and Abraham and even Moses, and we encourage you to not grow weary, for in due season we shall reap, if we do not give up, Gal 6:9. The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient, not wishing that anyone should perish, but that all should come to repentance, 2 Pet 3:9. Your persistent prayer is precious to Him, for The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous man is powerfully effective, James 5:16.

We pray for you as a husband to continue to love your wife as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for her, Eph 5:25, and to walk in gentleness and humility as you take His yoke upon you, for His yoke is easy and His burden is light, Matt 11:28-30, casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you, 1 Pet 5:7. We pray that you would not be anxious in anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7.

Together we pray now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We thank You that nothing is too difficult for You. Lord, we ask You to have mercy on this wife and on this marriage and on their son. Turn her from darkness to light, from the power of Satan to God. Open her eyes, soften her heart, grant her repentance and faith in Jesus Christ alone for forgiveness. Convict her of sin and righteousness and judgment, hedge her way with Your loving thorns where she strays, and surround her with faithful witnesses, with Your Word preached, with dreams and words of knowledge and prophesying that reveals the secrets of her heart so she may fall down and worship and declare that God is truly among Your people, 1 Cor 14:25. Manifest Your power to her in a way she cannot deny. Strengthen this husband to persevere in love, in prayer, in holiness, and in hope, and guard his heart and his son's heart with Your peace. Let this marriage be restored and made a testimony of Your redeeming grace, honoring You as a covenant kept for life. We ask this trusting Your perfect will and timing, in Jesus name, amen.

We hear your heart in this prayer, and thank you for sharing it so honestly with us. Two years and eight months is a long time to keep praying for someone you love, and we hear both your confidence in what God can do and the weariness that comes with waiting.

We were moved by how you notice the Lord's character as you pray, His mercy and seriousness and even His gentle humor with ###. Holding onto that view of who He is matters on the long road, when answers feel slow to come. You are asking God to work in your wife's life in every way He chooses, and at the same time you are learning to rest under His yoke and cast your cares on Him. That resting is part of faithfulness too.

It helps not to carry a burden this heavy alone. If you have not already, we encourage you to invite one or two steady, mature believers who know you both to walk with you regularly, to pray with you and to encourage you and your son in this season. Continuing to love your wife faithfully while trusting God to work in His timing can keep your heart from growing exhausted by trying to orchestrate every encounter for her.

Father, we bring this husband before You, and his wife and son and family. You know each of them by name and You see this long season of prayer. Give him rest for his soul, wisdom for each day, and strength to keep loving well. Lead his wife gently toward Your light and draw her heart to Yourself. Guide this family according to Your perfect will and keep them in Your care. In Jesus' name, amen.

Nothing is too difficult for the Lord, and you have done well to set your hope upon that truth. He who asked, Is anything too difficult for the Lord, in Genesis 18:14 is the same who declares, Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh, is anything too difficult for Me, in Jeremiah 32:27, and His arm is not shortened that it cannot save, nor His ear heavy that it cannot hear.

Your prayer for your wife, that she may be turned from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that she may receive forgiveness of sins and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in Christ, Acts 26:18, is a prayer according to the mind of God, for He will have all men to be saved and to come unto the knowledge of the truth, and there is salvation in no other, for there is one Mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.

You have prayed rightly that the goodness of God may lead her to repentance, Romans 2:4, and that the Holy Spirit may convince her of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment to come, John 16:8. Continue in this, and cast all your care upon Him, for He careth for you, and take His yoke upon you and learn of Him, for He is meek and lowly in heart, and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

Yet I would have you weigh what true repentance is, lest you seek only an outward distress and miss the inward grace. Judgments may produce a carnal repentance, a repentance that is of the flesh and after the manner of the sinful nature of men, but true repentance, the repentance which is the work of the Spirit of God and which God accepteth, giveth God glory. It is not a mere terror wrought by thorns hedging the way, Hosea 2:6, nor a temporary alarm under affliction, but a holy, healthy, heavenly sorrow wrought in the renewed heart, a rainbow made of tears of grief for sin and glances of hope at the love of Christ and His finished work. Where there is no repentance there can be no remission, but where there is true repentance there is full and free forgiveness.

Remember also that repentance is not a preparation for grace, it is the first result of grace working within the soul. We are not to preach repentance as Moses preached it, nor even as John the Baptist preached it as a preparation for Christ, we are to preach repentance in the name of Jesus, as the gift of God. The Lord Jesus is exalted to give repentance unto Israel and forgiveness of sins. If you trust for salvation to your repentance, or even to your faith, you might as well trust to your sins. Nothing is to be trusted but the finished work of Jesus Christ upon Calvary's tree. Faith and repentance are inseparable graces, and neither is to be valued apart from Christ.

Therefore pray not only for hedges and dreams and voices and providences, though the Lord can send an evangelist to every corner and give words of knowledge and cause the heart to be laid bare, 1 Corinthians 14:25, but pray above all that the Holy Spirit would give her repentance unto life, that germ which containeth all the essentials of salvation, and faith to look unto Christ and be saved. For the Scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed, Romans 10:11. Salvation is not by money and without price, without works, without merit. Look unto Me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth, Isaiah 45:22, for beside Him there is none else. A look, simple and instantaneous, saves the soul when that look is unto Jesus.

Be not weary though you have prayed these two years and eight months. The Lord tried Abraham and Sarah, and Moses, and Jeremiah, and He will try you, that you may see whether His word will come to pass, Numbers 11:23. Repentance liveth as long as faith, and you yourself have need to walk in that tender, humble repentance which is sweet company to the believer all his days. Let the least degree of true repentance be cherished, for the least faith saves and the least repentance, if it be sincere and leadeth the soul to look out of self to Christ and to Christ only, is saving.

So I will pray with you, that the Lord who caused Sarah to laugh for joy after her doubting, would in His own time and way, not merely by outward marvels but by inward grace, grant unto your wife that godly sorrow which needeth not to be repented of, and that simple faith which trusteth wholly in the Lord Jesus Christ, to whom be glory. And may He keep you in perfect peace as you wait upon Him, for His hand is not short, and with Him nothing shall be impossible.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer has been received with thanksgiving and I join you in lifting it to the Lord who hears and who saves. You have spoken truly from the Scriptures that nothing is too difficult for Him. When Sarah laughed and when Moses doubted and when Jeremiah stood before a field bought in a time of siege, the Lord answered in the same way, that His hand is not short that it cannot save and His ear is not dull that it cannot hear. He is the God of all flesh and His power is without limit, and His mercy is as great as His power.

With that confidence you do well to pray for your wife, that God would turn her from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that she may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Jesus Christ. There is salvation in no other, for Christ alone is the mediator and His one sacrifice has perfected forever those who are sanctified. We do not ask God to bless what is contrary to His word, but we ask Him to convict of sin and of righteousness and of judgment to come, and to lead to repentance.

Marriage is a bond ordained of God, honorable and to be kept pure, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman in which alone the union of bodies is holy. It is not to be corrupted but to be adorned with chasteness and gravity and order. Therefore the right prayer for a wife and for a husband and for a family is not that God would affirm us as we are, but that He would make us holy. Follow peace with all men and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord. That holiness in marriage is to live faithfully with your own spouse and to keep the bed undefiled, and for those who are married to remain bound as God has joined them.

I exhort you then to continue as you have begun, but with godly sorrow which works repentance unto salvation and not with the sorrow of the world which works death. True repentance is not only tears but a real turning, a washing away of pollution by tears and prayers and works of mercy and a pure conduct that receives no stain. Esau sought the blessing with tears and found no place of repentance because his heart did not truly turn. Let us pray that her repentance, and our own, may be genuine, a full turning to Christ with the whole heart.

Continue to cast all your cares upon Him, to take His gentle yoke and learn from Him, and to pray without ceasing. Pray that the Lord would hedge the way that leads away from Him and set thorns there, that He would bring faithful preaching and true witnesses and godly family and church to speak the truth in love, and that He would open eyes to see the light of the gospel. Pray also for yourself and for your son, that you may be kept in faith and in purity and in patience, doing all things so that your conduct may be pure and your course of life the best.

Nothing is too difficult for the Lord, yet He works in us through repentance and faith and obedience. I pray with you that He will show His power by granting her a new heart, that she would hear His voice and not harden her heart, that she would confess Jesus as Lord and walk in the holiness which proceeds from faith, and that your marriage would be strengthened and preserved as God ordained it. May the Lord in His mercy grant this for His glory and for your good, and may He keep you in peace as you trust in Him.
