On these workers that they come help put the tarp up and cover up our top opening vent as we asked them to do Jesus asap please, as our home feels damp with the humidity and moisture we can still feel the dampness when it rains and they didn't shut the windows in the other home, we had to alert them of this with all this rain. Please remind them to come help us soon too, and convict and save them, amen

We join you in bringing this practical and pressing need before the Lord, for He cares about every detail of our lives and our homes. We understand the frustration of waiting on workers who have not followed through, and the discomfort and concern of feeling dampness and humidity in your home when the rain comes, and having to remind them about open windows in the other home as well.

We are reminded that we can bring all our anxieties to Him, as it is written, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. We also take comfort that we can cast all our worries on Him, because He cares for us 1 Peter 5:7. Unless Yahweh builds the house, they labor in vain who build it Psalm 127:1, and we trust Him to watch over your dwelling and keep it safe from harm and moisture.

We also lift up these workers before the Lord as you have asked. We pray not with bitterness but with grace, remembering we are called to love and pray even for those who cause us difficulty. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men Colossians 3:23 is the standard God sets for labor, and we pray these workers would be moved to diligence and integrity. We pray we may respond with patience and kindness while still seeking what is right and needed.

We pray together now in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is through Him we have access to the Father.

Father, in Jesus name we bring this home before You. We ask You to protect this home from dampness, humidity, and rain, to keep it dry and healthy and free from mold or damage. We ask You to move on the hearts of these workers, to remind them of their promise to come and put the tarp up and cover the top opening vent as requested. Give them a sense of responsibility and promptness, and convict them where they have been careless, not only in this home but in the other home where windows were left open. We ask that You would draw them to Yourself, convict them of sin and bring them to salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, that they may know Your grace and truth. Give our friends here peace while they wait, wisdom in how to follow up with gentleness and firmness, and provision for every need. We commit this work into Your hands, that it would be completed soon and well. We trust You to supply and to guard. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We understand how frustrating it is to wait while your home still feels damp and you are depending on others to follow through. One small step that sometimes helps in these waiting seasons is to keep a simple written note of when you asked, what was promised, and a kind follow up with a clear time frame, like asking if they can come on a specific day this week. It gives you a record and makes it easier for them to respond. While you wait, if weather allows, airing out the home when it is dry for a short time can help a little with the humidity, alongside the covering you are still waiting for.

We also hear your heart for these workers, that God would work in their lives even as you need their help.

Father, we bring this home to You and ask for Your care over it. Please move on the workers to return soon and finish the covering as they said they would, protect this home from further dampness and rain, and give our friend wisdom and peace as they wait. Draw each one involved closer to Yourself in Jesus name, amen.

We have heard your burden concerning the tarp and the open vent, and the dampness that still settles upon your home when the rain comes, and the carelessness shown toward the other house where windows were left open.

We join you in bringing this before the Lord who is our help. You are right to ask Him to move the hearts and hands of these workers, that they would come soon and finish what they were asked to do, and cover that opening as you requested. We pray that the Lord would remind them, give them diligence and faithfulness in their work, and stir them to act promptly for your good. We ask also that He would preserve your home from humidity and harm, and keep it dry and habitable through this season of rain, for He has promised to strengthen and uphold His people with the right hand of His righteousness.

Do not give way to anxious fretting, though the damp is felt and the waiting tries your patience. Waiting upon the Lord is blessed, for those who wait upon Him wait in hope and not in despair. He sees your need and He will send forth His mercy and His truth in His own good time. Rest in Him and wait patiently for Him, casting this care also upon Him.

And we most earnestly join your prayer for the souls of these workers, that the Lord would convict them of sin and bring them to salvation through Jesus Christ alone. There is none to help the soul but Christ, and salvation is of the Lord. We pray that they may look to the Crucified One and live, and find pardon for transgressions past, all blotted out at once by His precious blood, and a new heart to serve Him.

May the Lord grant you peace in the waiting, protection over your dwelling, and the joy of knowing that your cry is heard. We pray that He would incline the workers to come soon and to do their work well, and above all that He would work in them that saving change which only grace can give, to the praise of the glory of His grace. In the name of Jesus Christ our only Savior we ask it, Amen.

Your prayer about your home and the workers has been heard, and I join you in bringing it before the Lord.

I understand how troubling it is to feel dampness and humidity inside your home when it rains, to wait for the tarp to be put up and the top opening vent to be covered as you asked, and to have to alert the workers about windows left open in the other home. It is right to ask God for help in these practical needs and to seek His mercy for those who are responsible for the work.

Scripture encourages us to draw near to God boldly and to bring our requests with faith, for now is the time of His gift and He gives generously to those who ask. So let us not despair, even when help seems delayed. Though we may need to ask again and to wait, we are to stand firm and continue to wrestle in prayer, trusting that God hears and that He is able to move hearts and to provide.

Let us pray together:

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, through whom alone is salvation, we come before You with this need. You see the dampness and moisture in this home and the concern that comes with the rain. We ask that You would prompt these workers to return soon and to complete what they were asked to do, to put the tarp up and to cover the vent properly and to act with care and diligence. Grant wisdom for gentle and clear communication with them, and protect this home from damage. Above all, we ask that You would convict these workers of sin and draw them to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, that they might be saved. Give peace to this household as they wait, and help them to keep their trust in You. Amen.

Continue to follow up with the workers as you are able, with patience and clarity, and keep entrusting both your home and their souls to the Lord. Take time at home to pray together and to remind one another of God's faithfulness, storing up His promises in your heart so that the worries of the day do not blot them out. God is faithful, and He will not leave your prayers unheard.
