Invitation To Set Daily Specific Time Apart To Praise And Worship God For 40 Days

This morning the Lord puts the words of King David of psalm 103 in my thoughts:

Psalm 103

1Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

2Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

3Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

4Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

5Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.

6The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.(...)

isn't it special that we are called to bless the Lord, who is the Source of all Blessings?

King David reminds us of all the Lord wants to do for us (forget not all His benefits):

- forgive us, heal us, redeem us from destruction etc.

If you feel down and heavy laiden, if you don't feeling like praising the Lord because life's burdens have brought you low... it is exactly the right moment to praise and worship Him.

Also, it is not necessary to have a good singer's voice to praise Him. It is not a nice singer's voice that will bring forth blessing and annointing to break the yoke. It is the reaching out with you heart to the Lord, just as you are... singing with your heart to the Lord.
