Intervention and protection

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Need protection against evil neighbors that have viciously lied against us and time is running out quickly to get them to compensate us back for all the evil they have caused. Vengeance is yours Jesus against your adversaries you will repay says the Lord. Please convict and save them until they speak the truth to light. Protect us mightily, amen

We hear your cry for justice and protection, and we stand with you in fervent prayer before the throne of God. The pain of being wronged by neighbors, those who should be a source of community and kindness, cuts deeply, especially when their lies have brought harm to you and your household. You are right to bring this before the Lord, for He is the ultimate Judge, and vengeance truly belongs to Him (Deuteronomy 32:35, Romans 12:19). We do not take matters of justice into our own hands, but we trust in the One who sees all and will repay.

First, we must address the matter of your heart in this situation. While it is natural to feel anger and a desire for restitution, we are called to examine our own motives. Scripture warns us, "Do not say, 'I will repay evil'; wait for Yahweh, and he will save you" (Proverbs 20:22). The Lord does not ignore the cries of the oppressed, but He also calls us to a higher standard, to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). This does not mean we excuse their sin, but we surrender the outcome to God, trusting that He will bring truth to light in His perfect timing.

We also lift up your neighbors before the Lord. Your prayer for their conviction and salvation is powerful, for it aligns with God’s desire that none should perish (2 Peter 3:9). The Holy Spirit is the One who convicts of sin (John 16:8), and we join you in asking Him to move mightily in their hearts. May they be broken over their deceit and turn from their wicked ways. If they refuse to repent, we trust that God will deal with them justly, for He is a God who hates false witness and injustice (Proverbs 6:16-19).

Now, we pray with you for divine intervention and protection:

Heavenly Father, we come before You as a people who trust in Your righteousness and justice. You see the lies that have been spoken against this family, and You know the harm that has been done. We ask, Lord, that You would arise as their Defender. Shield them from further harm, both seen and unseen. Surround them with Your angels to guard their home, their minds, and their hearts. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we pray for these neighbors who have acted wickedly. Soften their hearts, Lord. Convict them of their sin and lead them to repentance. If they refuse to turn from their ways, we trust that You will repay them according to their deeds (Romans 2:6). But we also ask that You would save them, for You desire that all come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4). Let Your light expose their darkness, and may they be brought to a place of humility and truth.

We declare that time is in Your hands, Lord. You are not bound by deadlines or human timelines. We ask that You would accelerate justice on behalf of this family. If restitution is owed, provide it in ways that only You can orchestrate. Open doors that no man can shut, and close doors that no man can open (Revelation 3:7). Let Your will be done in this situation, and let Your name be glorified.

Finally, Father, we ask that You would heal any bitterness or unforgiveness in the hearts of this family. Help them to release this burden to You, knowing that You are their Vindicator. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let them walk in the confidence that You are fighting for them.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who has overcome the world and who intercedes for us at Your right hand. Amen.

In the days ahead, we encourage you to continue standing on God’s promises. Meditate on Psalm 37, which reminds us not to fret over those who do evil but to trust in the Lord and do good. Keep your heart tender toward the Lord, and allow Him to be your strength. If there are legal or practical steps you need to take, seek godly counsel and move forward in wisdom, always remembering that the battle belongs to the Lord (1 Samuel 17:47).

You are not alone in this. We stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord stands with you. His justice will prevail, and His protection is sure. Keep your eyes on Him, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9).

We hear the weight of this, being lied about by people nearby, especially when it threatens to cost you in ways that feel urgent, is deeply painful. It can make you feel cornered and alone, even while you’re crying out for God to act. Your prayer shows real trust: you’ve handed vengeance back to Jesus, and you’re asking not only for protection but for your neighbors’ hearts to be changed so that truth comes to light. That’s a hard, honest place to stand, and we want to stand there with you.

When a clock is ticking and the stakes involve compensation or some kind of justice, anxiety can press in fast. But the justice you’re longing for isn’t something you have to manufacture. God knows what they’ve done and what you’ve lost. While you wait for Him to move, one thing that can help right now is getting wise, practical support if you haven’t already. If there are legal or financial deadlines, talking with a trusted attorney or even a calm, experienced mediator can clarify what steps actually belong to you and what you can release into God’s hands. That isn’t a lack of faith, it’s simply keeping the fight from consuming you.

We also want to say gently: the desire to see them convicted and brought to truth is right, but let that sit alongside a surrender of the timeline. God’s work in their hearts may not match the calendar you’re facing, and protecting your own spirit from bitterness will matter more in the long run than any settlement. Keep turning the ache back to Him.

We’re praying with you now.

Jesus, we bring these neighbors before You, their lies, the damage they’ve caused, and the pressure on this family. You see it all. We ask for mighty protection: guard them physically, emotionally, and spiritually from any further harm. Bring truth into the open, and if it pleases You, convict and save those who have spoken falsely. Give clarity about what to do in the days ahead, and fill this home with Your peace that outlasts any human trouble. In Your name, amen.

The great danger in such trials is not the injury done by others, but the evil that may spring up in our own hearts. When we are overcome of evil, even for a moment, it discovers the sad weakness of our spiritual life. To recompense evil for evil is natural, but may God deliver us from the nature which makes it natural! It is just, no doubt, after a fashion, but from that sort of justice may our Redeemer rescue us! Again, it is admitted that the art of returning evil for evil is very, very easy. The Divine method is to overcome evil with good.

Everywhere is God, and in all things his hand is present: in the things which seem to us to be evil as well as in the events which appear to us to be good, God is at work. The prince of evil is, according to our faith, subordinate to the great Lord of all. Thus saith Jehovah, by the mouth of his servant Isaiah, “I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and I create evil: I the Lord do all these things.” He doeth no wrong, for God is not tempted of evil, neither tempteth he any man, but we speak of physical evil, which causeth sorrow, pain, and death among men, and we say that certainly God is there.

Let us now consider the Divine method of overcoming evil with good. And here I freely admit, to commence with, that this is a very elevated mode of procedure. “Overcome evil with good! Ridiculous!” says one. “Utopian,” cries another. Yet what you and I may think is a very small matter compared with what really is. The impetuous character of the prophet’s cry shows that the Divine visitation is the one thing needed. The Church only needs the Divine Presence in the midst of her and all the systems of error will flow down at His feet like glaciers which dissolve in the summer’s sun.

As for your adversaries, pray that they might be convicted and saved. In Christ’s name, he is thy Saviour; yes, thy Saviour, though thou hast spoken evil of his people, his day, his Word, and his gospel. God can justify the ungodly. The dry tree by divine grace shall flourish; the green tree, deserted by the dew of heaven, shall dry up. The low tree, fostered by the husbandman, shall mount even to the stars; the high tree, cut down by the axe of judgment, shall lay outstretched along the plains of ruin for ever. But remember, returning evil for evil looks like rough and ready justice, yet is any man prepared to stand before God and receive evil for his evil? There is Divine Sovereignty in all this, and we must learn to recognize and admire it. We must trace God’s hand in everything. May we not know the dishonor and misery of being overcome of evil because Divine Grace continually gives us the victory!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have called upon the Lord for vengeance, but beware lest your own words condemn you. It is not for us to demand repayment from our adversaries as if we were judges. Did not our Lord say, "If you speak evil, though it be true, even so shall vengeance come upon you"? The Pharisee spoke truth, yet he was condemned because his heart was not right. If you slander your neighbors, even in seeking justice, you risk the same punishment. Do not dig a pit for them, lest you fall into it yourself.

Why do you fight over clay? The wrong they have done you, whether to property or reputation, is but dust cast out in the yard. Will you summon a court for such things when your true house is in heaven? The rich man who clings to earthly goods is the poorest of all, for his soul is dead, having lost the warmth of love. If you demand compensation with a bitter spirit, you injure yourself far more than they have injured you. Injustice is judged not by the size of the theft but by the intention of the heart. Buying cheap by deceit or seeking to get back what was taken with a vengeful mind is the same robbery before God.

Instead, do good to those who hate you. By benefiting an enemy, you heap coals on his head, but more importantly, you heal your own soul. You pray for their conviction and salvation: that is well, but let it be without malice. Pray that they come to the truth, not so that you may be repaid, but that they may be saved. For we are members of one another; their sin is a wound to the whole body, and their repentance would be healing for all. Do not be like the unmerciful servant who, having been forgiven a great debt, throttled his fellow for a small one. Remember what strict justice would have brought upon you from the beginning, and show mercy.

You ask for protection. The Good Shepherd will guard His sheep from the thieves and wolves, but you must not become like them by returning evil for evil. Let no root of bitterness spring up. Use whatever ability you have, whether patience, prayer, or a quiet spirit, for the common good. Endure what must be endured, knowing that the fiery trial is from God, who alone punishes rightly. Man’s punishment cannot compare to His. Trust in Him, and do not let the love of earthly things or the desire for vengeance quench the Spirit. Live for the advantage of your neighbor, even your enemy, and you will store up treasure in heaven where no thief can steal.

The weight of being lied against and the urgency you feel to see the wrong made right are real. When others speak vicious falsehoods, it is natural to long for the truth to be exposed and for justice to be done. You have already planted your feet on solid ground by turning this over to the Lord and declaring that vengeance belongs to Him alone. He sees every hidden thing, and nothing escapes His notice. The very word apocalypse means an unveiling, a pulling back of the wraps so that what is real stands revealed. In His perfect time, Jesus Christ will bring every deed into the light, and every lie will be silenced by the truth.

Right now, the throne of God stands open to you. The way is clear, not because you have been perfect, but because the veil was torn and you are invited to come boldly before that throne of grace. There you can pour out your heart, not only for protection, but to receive mercy and find grace to help in this moment of need. Tell Him everything. He listens. He also sees the hearts of your neighbors. The cry for them to be convicted and saved is itself a work of His Spirit, because it echoes the very patience of Christ, who desires truth to spring from transformed hearts rather than from mere fear of consequences.

While you wait for the earthly situation to resolve, let your heart rest in His promise to keep those who hold fast to His word. He knows how to shield you in the hour of temptation and trial. The same God who once locked Adam out of Eden out of mercy, so that sin would not be eternal, now guards you in ways you may not even see. Your true safety is not found in a settlement or a reversal of circumstances, but in the nail-scarred hand that holds you. No adversary can snatch you from it.

Do not let the ticking clock consume your peace. The Lord’s timing may seem slow, but it is never late. Every event that touches your life passes through His wise and loving fingers first. Use these days to deepen your trust, to pray blessing over those who curse you, and to let the Spirit work into your own heart the quiet confidence that the Judge of all the earth will do right. The day is coming when every wrong will be set right and the overcomers will inherit the tree of life in the paradise of God. Until then, the Lion of Judah has already prevailed, and He is both your advocate and your shield.

We want you to know how deeply we have carried your burden these past days. Our hearts have been heavy as we have stood in the gap for you, lifting up your need for divine intervention and protection against those neighbors whose lies have brought such harm. We have prayed fervently for the Lord’s mighty hand to shield you, for His justice to prevail, and for the truth to be revealed in His perfect timing.

We have also asked the Holy Spirit to move powerfully in the hearts of those who have wronged you, that they might be convicted of their sin and turn from their ways. We trust in the promise that vengeance belongs to the Lord, and we have claimed His word over this situation, believing that He will repay and restore what has been broken.

If the Lord has already moved in this situation—if you’ve seen His protection, His provision, or even the first glimmers of truth coming to light—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Your testimony would encourage us all and glorify His name. But if the battle still rages and the answer hasn’t yet come, please don’t hesitate to post this request again. We are here to continue standing with you in prayer, lifting you up until the Lord brings His full victory.

May He surround you with His peace, strengthen your faith, and remind you daily that He is fighting for you. Keep seeking Him, trusting Him, and resting in His promises. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
