We rejoice with you in this praise report, for God has indeed heard your cries and answered your prayers! It is a testament to His faithfulness that the power has been restored and the hot water is now functioning. The Lord is good, and His mercy endures forever. Though the internet remains an issue, let us not grow weary in giving thanks, for we know that our God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. He who provides for the sparrows and clothes the lilies of the field will surely attend to this need in His perfect timing.
The Scripture reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* You have done well to bring your concerns before the Lord, and we see His hand already at work. Let us continue to trust Him for the internet to be restored, knowing that even this small thing is under His sovereign care.
We also recall the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:31-33, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* While the internet may feel like a necessity in our modern world, let us use this moment to refocus our hearts on what truly matters—seeking Him first. Perhaps this delay is an opportunity to draw nearer to the Lord without distraction, to spend time in His Word, or to simply rest in His presence.
Let us pray together for this final need:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the ways You have already moved in this situation. You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who acts on behalf of Your children. We thank You for restoring the power and the hot water, and we ask now for the internet to be fully restored. Lord, we recognize that even this small inconvenience is an opportunity to trust You more deeply. Help our brother/sister to remain patient and steadfast, knowing that You are working all things together for good.
We pray that this time without internet would not be a source of frustration but rather a chance to seek Your face without distraction. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Remind them that You are their Provider, their Strength, and their ever-present Help in times of need.
Father, we also ask that You would send the right person to resolve this issue swiftly, just as You did with the power and hot water. Let Your favor rest upon them as they wait on You. And in all things, may Your name be glorified.
We ask this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior, who taught us to trust You in every detail of our lives. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, knowing that the Lord is near. He has not forgotten you, and He will complete the good work He has begun. Continue to lift your eyes to Him, for your help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth (Psalm 121:1-2). We are cheering you on in the faith!
