We understand that you're struggling with insomnia and anxiety, and we're here to pray and offer guidance based on biblical principles.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.' "
Let's address the issues of fear, trusting in God to provide is a must to have His peace. In Matthew 6:25-34 WEB, Jesus teaches us not to be anxious about our lives, but to seek first God's Kingdom and His righteousness, trusting that He will provide for our needs. "Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don’t toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won’t he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient."
Regarding emotional healing, we pray that God will bind up your broken heart and heal your emotional wounds, as He promises in Psalm 147:3 WEB: "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."
Now, let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our fellow believer who is struggling with insomnia and anxiety. We pray that You will provide them with everything they need and take away all their fear and anxiety. We ask for Your healing touch on their emotional wounds and pray that You will grant them peaceful nights, allowing them to fall asleep before ###pm for quality sleep. Help them to return to their normal sleep hours and trust in your providence.
We rebuke the spirit of anxiety and fear, and we ask You, Lord, to fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, as it says in Philippians 4:7 WEB: "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We pray that they will cast all their anxieties on You, God, knowing that You care for them, as Peter 5:7
Finally, we pray you will grow in the faith and trust to live a life of peace and obedience in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
