We join you in bringing this request for inner peace before the Father and we thank you for praying in the precious name of Jesus, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the throne of grace.
We understand the longing to have all anxiety and worry disappear and to be filled with divine peace and safety, and the Lord knows the weight that worry can place on the heart. Scripture calls us to bring these very burdens to Him. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. This reminds us that His peace is not always the immediate removal of every difficult circumstance, but a guarding of our hearts and minds as we trust Him.
Jesus Himself promised this kind of peace when He said, Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don't let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful. John 14:27. The peace the world offers depends on everything going well, but the peace Christ gives remains even in the storm because it is rooted in His presence and His absolute safety. You will keep whoever's mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you. Isaiah 26:3. And we are invited to be casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7.
We encourage you to continue to set your mind on Him, to spend time in His Word and in prayer with thanksgiving, and to trust that He is your refuge. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1. When anxious thoughts arise, gently turn them into prayers, thanking Him that He holds you and that nothing can separate you from His love.

Your prayer for inner peace and for anxiety to be lifted is heard, and it touches a need that lies deep in every human heart. There is a peace which this world cannot give and cannot take away, and there is also a false peace which is but a lull of thought or a blindness to danger. The peace worth having is that which comes from being at peace with God, for peace with God is the fountain and peace in the conscience is the crystal stream which issues from it.
Scripture says, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. That perfect peace is not found by seeking peace itself first, but by seeking Christ first. He is our peace. It is His blood which whispers peace within, having made a full atonement, and it is through Him alone that preaching peace comes to sinners. No good works, no tears, no prayers of our own can be the ground of it. The blood of Jesus must be the foundation, and the Holy Spirit must be its author in the soul.
Do not be of a doubtful mind, nor let worry and fretfulness rule you. Such anxiety unfits you to meet the very difficulty that troubles you, and it brings a midnight into the mind which only trust can turn to daylight. To do the will of Jesus, this is rest. When sorrows surge round or duties press, there is calm to be found upon His bosom. When loved ones are far away or cares multiply, in Jesus keeping we are safe.
This peace in believing is a filling peace, a well founded peace, a peace that passes all understanding and flows like a river in unceasing activity. It is not stagnation, but life. It comes by faith, and it remains as you keep your mind stayed upon the Lord and cast all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
May the Lord Himself, who is the God of peace, bless you with His own peace, the unruffled and profound peace of His Son. May you look to Christ alone for reconciliation, trust Him fully, and find your heart kept in perfect peace. May you go in peace, kept and guarded by Him this day and all your days, until that peace is perfected in His presence.
