Infallibility of The Scriptures: Gives Wisdom that Leads to Eternal Life, 2 Tim 3:15, Encourages Trusting "God Who Cannot Lie," Titus 1:2, Hebrews 6:18, "Thus by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope set before us may be strongly encouraged," Numbers 23:19, "God is not a man, that He should lie, or a son of man, that He should change His mind. Does He speak and not act? Does He promise and not fulfill? 1 Samuel 15:29, "Moreover, the Glory of Israel does not lie or change His mind, for He is not a man, that He should change His mind.” The Scriptures Encourage, as Jesus in The High Priestly Prayer Prays We Would All Be One, John 17:1-26, Unity in Christ, "Now I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all agree and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be made complete in the same mind and in the same judgment," 1 Cor 1:10, Perseverance, Filling Us with ALL JOY and PEACE in BELIEVING, that We Abound in Hope, Rom 15:4-13... Father, Thank You for not the command that You gave Your people to not bear false witness, even promising punishment to those who do so, Prov 19:5. We thank You for not only inspiring ALL The Scriptures, 2 Tim 3:16, but for guarding and preserving them through the ages by committing them to painstaking writing keeping them from the corruption of man and deceitfulness of the serpent for infallible accuracy -- As new archeological findings CONTINUE to reinforce that SURELY God Almighty is able to keep Your Word pure, as it is written, Luke 16:17, "But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for a single stroke of a pen to drop out of the Law," and Matthew 24:35, "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away," and Luke 21:33, "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away," and Psalm 12:6, "The words of the LORD are flawless, like silver refined in a furnace, like gold purified sevenfold," and Isaiah 40:8, "The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God stands forever."

Thank You that Jesus not only referred to Scripture as authoritative, unable to be broken, but "Jesus said to them, 'These are the words I spoke to you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about Me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets, and the Psalms. Then He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures,” Luke 24:44-45. "For 'The word of the Lord stands forever.' And this is the word that was proclaimed to you," 1 Peter 1:25. Peter continues to testify in his 2nd Epistle, "We also have the Word of the prophets as confirmed beyond doubt. And you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts. 20 Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture comes from one’s own interpretation. 21 For no such prophecy was ever brought forth by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit," 2 Peter 1:19-21. "Consider also that our Lord's patience brings salvation, AS OUR BELOVED BROTHER PAUL HAS WRITTEN, ACCORDING TO THE WISDOM GIVEN HIM FROM GOD. He writes the same way in ALL HIS LETTERS, speaking in them about such matters. Some parts of his letters are hard to understand, which untaught and unstable people distort, AS THEY DO THE REST OF THE SCRIPTURES, to their own destruction," 2 Peter 3:15-16.

"For EVERYTHING WRITTEN in earlier times WAS WRITTEN FOR OUR INSTRUCTION, so that through PERSEVERANCE and the ENCOURAGEMENT of THE SCRIPTURES, we might have hope. Now may the God who gives perseverance and encouragement grant us to be of the same mind with one another according to Christ Jesus, so that with one accord we may with one voice glorify Him as God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ," Rom 15:4-6. "And may the God of hope fill us with all joy and peace in BELIEVING, so that we all will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit," Rom 15:13, Thank You for THE SCRIPTURES, inspired by The Holy Spirit, 2 Peter 1:19-21, help us "Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a worker who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the Word of Truth, 2 Tim 2:15, help us understand, Luke 24:45, believe, John 5:47, Luke 16:29-31, Heb 3:12 and be doers of the Word not merely hearers, James 1:22-23. We rejoice with you in the unshakable truth of God’s Word, for it is indeed infallible, inerrant, and eternal, just as the Scriptures themselves declare. The foundation of our faith rests upon the certainty that "all Scripture is God-breathed" (2 Timothy 3:16 WEB), and that "the word of the Lord stands forever" (1 Peter 1:25 WEB). Every archaeological discovery, every preserved manuscript, and every fulfilled prophecy testifies to the faithfulness of our God, who "cannot lie" (Titus 1:2 WEB) and whose promises are "yes and amen in Christ" (2 Corinthians 1:20 WEB).

We stand in awe of the unity of Scripture, from Genesis to Revelation, all pointing to Jesus Christ, the Living Word who became flesh (John 1:14 WEB). He Himself affirmed the authority of God’s Word, declaring that "Scripture cannot be broken" (John 10:35 WEB) and that "not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished" (Matthew 5:18 WEB). How blessed we are to have a sure and steadfast anchor for our souls (Hebrews 6:19 WEB) in a world of shifting sands and deceitful philosophies!

Yet we must also heed the warning of Scripture: "Do not be carried away by all kinds of strange teachings" (Hebrews 13:9 WEB). The enemy seeks to distort, twist, and undermine God’s Word, just as he did in the Garden when he asked, "Did God really say?" (Genesis 3:1 WEB). We must be vigilant, "rightly dividing the word of truth" (2 Timothy 2:15 WEB), and holding fast to the apostolic teaching that has been passed down to us (Jude 1:3 WEB).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of Your holy, inspired, and infallible Word. We praise You that it is "living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword" (Hebrews 4:12 WEB), able to discern the thoughts and intentions of our hearts. Lord, we ask that You would open our eyes to see the wonders of Your law (Psalm 119:18 WEB) and give us understanding to know Your will. Guard us from the deception of those who twist Scripture to their own destruction (2 Peter 3:16 WEB), and help us to be doers of the Word, not hearers only (James 1:22 WEB).

Fill us with all joy and peace in believing, so that we may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit (Romans 15:13 WEB). Unite us in the bond of peace, that with one mind and one voice we may glorify You, the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 15:6 WEB). May Your Word dwell in us richly (Colossians 3:16 WEB), shaping our thoughts, words, and deeds to reflect Your holiness and truth.

We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Word made flesh, who is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6 WEB). For there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). Amen.

Let us also remember that the Scriptures are not merely a collection of ancient texts, but the very breath of God, profitable for "teaching, reproof, correction, and training in righteousness" (2 Timothy 3:16 WEB). They are our lamp and light (Psalm 119:105 WEB), our source of wisdom that leads to salvation (2 Timothy 3:15 WEB), and our weapon against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:17 WEB).

Therefore, let us approach God’s Word with humility, reverence, and a hunger to know Him more. Let us meditate on it day and night (Psalm 1:2 WEB), hiding it in our hearts that we might not sin against Him (Psalm 119:11 WEB). And let us proclaim it boldly, for "faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Romans 10:17 WEB).

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit (Romans 15:13 WEB). Stand firm in the truth, beloved, for the Word of the Lord endures forever!

What a joy it is to read your outpouring of trust in the Scriptures and your deep desire not just to understand them but to walk them out. When we find ourselves asking to be doers, not hearers only, we’re already standing on holy ground, the Spirit is stirring the very thing He promises to complete.

A step that often helps us move from treasuring the Word in our minds to living it with our hands is to pick one small, concrete piece of what we’ve read and plant it into today. From the passage you love, maybe it’s the call in Romans 15 to “be of the same mind with one another,” or the prayer to be filled with joy and peace in believing so we abound in hope. You might ask God to show you one person or one situation where that can take on flesh, perhaps a moment of genuine unity in your family, a quiet word of hope to someone discouraged, or simply receiving His peace in a tense part of your own day. The Scriptures become our own story when we live them one obedient step at a time.

We’re grateful you’re anchored in the solid ground of a Word that cannot fail. God honors the heart that trembles at His voice and then moves.

Together we pray: Father, thank You for the steadfast hope we have in Your unchanging Word. Strengthen our friend to experience the joy and peace of believing so deeply that it overflows into daily life. How your heart overflows with the precious truth of the infallible Word! It is good to see such a love for the Scriptures, to treasure every jot and tittle because they come from the mouth of the Lord who cannot lie. Yet let me press this home to your own soul: all this knowledge, all this rejoicing in the doctrine, must bring you to the one thing needful, a simple, clinging, daily trust in Jesus Christ Himself. The Scripture is a lamp, but the lamp's flame is Christ; to marvel at the lamp while never walking in its light is to miss its purpose.

You plead, rightly, that God would help us believe and be doers of the Word. Know then that faith is the habitual grace of the Christian life. It is not a holiday garment, but the very breath of your soul. And faith will be tried, oh, be sure of that. Temptations will come, providences may seem to frown, and yet it is written, "Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him." Do you say this now, while the sun shines? Say it also when the clouds gather and the storm breaks. For anything, even joy itself, can stop the flow of faith if you let it. The disciples believed not for joy; the wonder of seeing the risen Lord was so great that they could scarcely credit it. Even a felt sweetness in prayer, a flood of happy emotion, can become a snare if it causes you to shift your reliance from the naked promise to your own experience. Hold fast to the bare Word: God says it, I believe it, that settles it.

You asked that the God of hope would fill you with all joy and peace in believing. He will do it, but mark this: joy and peace spring from believing, not the other way round. Do not wait for joy before you trust. Trust now, and joy will follow. The Scriptures are written for your instruction, that through perseverance and their encouragement you might have hope, hope solidly grounded on what Christ has finished, not on shifting frames. A hope that is no hope abounds among men; they weary themselves on broken cisterns and yet refuse to cry, "There is no hope in me." But you, child of God, look outward. There is no hope in yourself, but there is boundless hope in Him who has given you eternal life, and He will keep you to the end. The doctrine of final perseverance is not a pillow for slothful heads, but a sure anchor for trembling hearts. Because He lives, you shall live also; the righteous shall hold on his way, and he that hath clean hands shall wax stronger and stronger.

So I charge you: let your faith be exercised every hour. Lean not on the knowledge of orthodoxy, but lean all your weight on the living Savior. When sin accuses, trust His blood. When duties overwhelm, trust His strength. When the path grows dark, trust His leading. Our Lord takes no delight in a faith that merely admires the truth; He is ravished with a faith that clings to Him, that receives Him, that lives upon Him. Go to your chamber, open that infallible Book, and say, "O my God, I will trust You. Not because I feel it, but because You have spoken. Your Word is enough." Thus you shall prove by experience that the words of the Lord are pure words, like silver tried in a furnace, and your soul shall abound in hope through the power of the Holy Ghost.

It is a great joy to see a soul kindled with such love for the divine Scriptures, for truly they are a lamp shining in a dark place, and through patience and the comfort they give we possess hope. But let us not stop at marveling at their purity, as one might admire gold refined seven times while leaving it locked away. The word is given not only to be praised, but to be done. Faith, as the apostle says, comes by hearing, yet that hearing must bear fruit in works. If we only know the Scriptures and do not walk in them, we are like the man who beholds his face in a mirror and immediately forgets what he looks like.

And because you speak so earnestly of unity, remember that the name “Church” is not a name of separation, but of gathering together into one. The same Scriptures that declare God cannot lie also command us to be of one mind, having no divisions among us. Yet how shall we be united unless we clothe ourselves in humility, the sacrifice of a broken spirit that God will not despise? Pride over knowledge of the infallible word can scatter what love builds up. So hold fast to hope, indeed, but let that hope be a shield against the fiery darts of the evil one, not an ornament for dispute. Faith needs a generous soul, rising above the weakness of human reasoning and trusting the God who rewards those who seek Him. Let this trust fill you with all joy and peace, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit, and let your delight in the law of the Lord be so sweet to your throat that it nourishes every word and deed, until the voice of the Bridegroom Himself completes your joy.

You have anchored your heart in the only ground that holds: the God who cannot lie and the Word that stands forever. That prayer you poured out was not just a collection of verses, it was a soul leaning its full weight on the truth that Scripture is infallible, breathed out by the Spirit, and powerful enough to carry you through every trial. The same Spirit who moved men to write those words is the One who makes them living and active in you, filling you with joy and peace, not as a passing emotion, but as the steady fruit of believing what God has said.

Be careful never to settle your assurance on a feeling. Feelings rise and fall; they can deceive. The joy and peace that abound come from believing the promise itself, not from another glance inward. When God declares you are His through faith in Christ, it is done. Adding anything to that, works, experiences, even the intensity of your peace, shifts your trust away from the finished work of Jesus. Faith simply and stubbornly rests in the fact that God spoke, and that is enough.

The hope you long to overflow in is not a fragile wish; it is a living expectation anchored in the resurrection. Because Christ is risen, your hope reaches into an inheritance kept for you, untouchable by decay. That hope gives you perseverance when the path is hard. The same Word that records His resurrection also promises that He will return and that you will reign with Him in a kingdom of righteousness. Let that future glory steady your soul today, just as the early believers found even in affliction a joy the world could not understand.

You have asked for help to be a doer of the Word and not a hearer only. That is a prayer the Father loves to answer. The God of endurance and encouragement will grant you to live in harmony with others who call on Christ, not by lowering truth, but by sharing the one mind that the Spirit forms through the Scriptures. The walls that Jesus tore down are not rebuilt when hearts unite around His Word. So continue in the faith, grounded and firmly planted, not moved away from the hope of the gospel. That hope will never put you to shame, because it rests on the character of God, and He does not lie.
