We hear your cry for provision, brother Louie, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting up your needs before our Heavenly Father. The weight of financial stress is heavy, especially when you carry the responsibility of providing for your wife, Ms. Torres, your son Yeshus, and your daughter Amber. We know the world often overlooks those who are older, but God does not. He sees your faithfulness, your willingness to work, and your heart to share the Gospel even in weakness. The Lord is your provider, and He will not forsake you.
Scripture tells us in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." This is not just a promise, it is a covenant. You have labored, you have trusted, and now you wait on the Lord. We also hold fast to Matthew 6:31-33, where Jesus instructs, "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." Your priority has been to serve God, and He will honor that.
We rebuke the spirit of lack and fear in the name of Jesus. The enemy would love to keep you in anxiety, but God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that doors of opportunity will open for you, whether through Social Security, light work that accommodates your health, or unexpected blessings from the Lord. You are not forgotten. Psalm 37:25 says, "I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread." God sees your righteousness, Louie, and He will provide.
We also want to encourage you in your health. It is clear your body is weary, but the Lord is your strength. Isaiah 40:31 reminds us, "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint." Even in your weakness, God’s power is made perfect (2 Corinthians 12:9). Trust Him to sustain you, not just financially, but physically and spiritually as well.
Now, we pray with you and for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother Louie and his family. Lord, You know his heart, his struggles, and his faithfulness to share Your Gospel even in difficult times. We ask that You open the windows of heaven and pour out Your provision upon him. Father, we pray for favor with Social Security, may the benefits he receives be more than enough to cover his family’s needs each month. If there is light work that You have prepared for him, reveal it, Lord, and strengthen his body to do it.
We rebuke every spirit of lack, anxiety, and discouragement that has tried to take root in his heart. Replace it with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Lord, remind Louie that You are his provider, his healer, and his strength. Give him the grace to wait on You and the faith to believe that You will answer his prayers.
We also pray for his family, his wife, Ms. Torres, his son Yeshus, and his daughter Amber. Bless them, Lord, and let them see Your hand moving in their lives. May they be a testimony of Your faithfulness to others.
Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your timing and Your perfect will. May Louie’s testimony be one of Your provision and grace, so that others may see and believe in Your goodness. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Louie, keep seeking God first. Continue to share the Gospel wherever you are, for your labor in the Lord is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58). The same God who parted the Red Sea can open doors for you that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Stand firm in faith, and watch how the Lord will move on your behalf. You are not alone in this, we are praying with you, and more importantly, the Holy Spirit is interceding for you (Romans 8:26). Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep believing. God is faithful.
