I want to see if something corresponds with some statements in the Bible.Like, I heard in my parents generation ,people were more courteous, and more respectful of others, and friendlierThe last several years, I noticed (have been on the receiving end of it,myself}people these days are very RUDE.I don't mean so much with words, but actions. Like, I like to be courteous, and its a natural reaction to look up at a neighbor to see if it's someone I know,or even nod my head or say hello. When I do, {or even if I just glance around out of curiosity and spot them},they turn their head the other way,or even make a face ,or tweak down their nose at you!!{unless they need you for something,or if you had a "fender bender" with them, and they feign an injury and want to make money from you, then they'll butter you up in a phony way. After they get the "need of the moment" from you, they'll "cast you into darkness" again.}I think also, they make scapegoats of you for their own bad feelings, like if they feel miserable because of problems{or a complex}they palm it off on you. Sooo....related to Biblical things, the fact that people didn't act this way in the past, does this tie in with statements like,"because of the increase of lawlessness, the love of the greater number shall wax cold." Or in 2 Timothy,"In the last days people shall be lovers of self"(snubbing you for self-centered reasons, like to boost their own ego, and make themselves feel better}{Also, "in the LAST DAYS people will be",could explain why 60 years ago people were nicer, less rude, less arrogant, as compared to now.Coincidence?I somehow don't think so.
