I don't know how many people notice this, but looking back over my life, as a kid I had "hope" that things would turn out as they "should". As a teenager, still young, I started to "sense" that there were things that may not be as "rosy" as I thought, but at that age I was still able to "shuck it off." But now in middle age, with so many things the opposite of how I would "prefer" them, and not as much "escape" from "hard bitten experiences" after a lifetime of being beaten down...depressing.

Brother ###, believe me when I tell you, that it will pass. What I lost and had to endure (and it was plenty) don't come close to where I am. I never know when the Father will call me home, so I better get it right! For me, I have to stay focused on God and I'm getting over my past. A life-threatening ailment will realign your priorities. Stay bless.
