In need of serious prayer. My ex assaulted me and I defended myself. My ex knew I could not get another charge or be in trouble for an entire year preceding the case where the Sgt assaulted me when I called them for help. Well, my ex began beating me up in her SUV. I defended myself and fought back. Her SUV ran up onto a sidewalk. She threw my phone and broke it. Since I refused medical treatment, they took us both in for a 12-hour hold. We were told we were only being given a citation, not a charge. Well, although they state I am the victim, they are trying to charge me with what they charged her with. How can one be the Victim and get charged? I return to court in January. This has caused me great stress because of the previous court situation. I've cried so much I don't have any tears left. I am praying that everything gets dismissed/dropped on my behalf. In Jesus' name I pray, amen!
