In Need of Advice and Prayer

I have been targeted by what would seem to be organizations, Illuminati establishments, and Illuminati housing, including those therein. I am at a point where I need to work and have enough to eat. I don't want to find myself having to eat out of a trash can just to survive. At the same time, I am on the verge of giving up hope—not hope in the Lord Jesus Christ, but hope in people. I do not find my hope in men. I know that people can let you down, and Scripture reminds me of this: Psalm 118:8: “It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man.” Psalm 146:3: “Do not put your trust in princes, in human beings, who cannot save.” I also keep in mind what Scripture says in Ephesians 6:12: “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” With that understanding, I have found myself in a number of situations where I believed that people in positions of authority—such as a general manager at a job I was considering and the managers working under them—were involved with or worshiping spiritual powers or principalities that I associate with figures such as Horus or Ra. Whether I have understood every situation correctly or not, these experiences have left me feeling like I repeatedly find myself entering into circumstances that I could have avoided. I have also found myself involved in contracts and agreements that, looking back, I believe I should have been more careful about entering into. I don't want to continue making decisions that put me in difficult or harmful situations. As far as working and getting back on my feet, I am asking for advice. If anyone genuinely cares to offer their input, what do you think I should do? What would be the wisest steps for me to take right now to find work, obtain food, become stable, and avoid entering into contracts or agreements that could put me in another difficult situation? I am trying to move forward while keeping my faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. I am exhausted and discouraged, but I have not given up my faith in Him. If you have practical advice, resources, or simply some wisdom to share, I would sincerely appreciate it.

We hear your heart in this and we thank you for holding fast to your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ even while you are exhausted and discouraged. We commend you for remembering where true hope lies, for you are right that it is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man as Psalm 118:8 says, and we are not to put our trust in princes, in human beings, who cannot save as Psalm 146:3 says. We also agree that our struggle is not ultimately against people, for we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places as Ephesians 6:12 says.

We want to gently speak wisdom to you about the weight you are carrying regarding organizations and establishments and spiritual powers you associate with figures like Horus or Ra. We do believe the spiritual realm is real and that idolatry and false worship are real and offensive to God, for the Lord has said you shall have no other gods before me as Exodus 20:3 says. At the same time we want to encourage you not to let fear or suspicion consume your thinking or paralyze you from moving forward. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control as 2 Timothy 1:7 says, and we are called to be sober and self-controlled, for your adversary the devil walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour as 1 Peter 5:8 says. Yet greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world as 1 John 4:4 says. We are to test the spirits to see whether they are of God as 1 John 4:1 says, but we are also to fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith as Hebrews 12:2 says, rather than searching for hidden darkness in every manager or contract. Some situations may indeed be unwise or ungodly and should be avoided, but others may be ordinary difficulties where the enemy wants you to live in constant anxiety. We pray God will give you clear discernment and peace to know the difference.

You asked for practical wisdom for work and food and stability and for avoiding harmful agreements, and we want to share what Scripture teaches. God is your provider and He sees your need. Your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things, but seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well as Matthew 6:33 says. My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus as Philippians 4:19 says. He also calls us to diligent work, for if anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat as 2 Thessalonians 3:10 says, and whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men as Colossians 3:23 says.

We encourage you to take these wise steps now. First, bring every decision before the Lord in prayer and seek godly counsel before you sign anything. Without consultation, plans are frustrated, but with many advisers they are established as Proverbs 15:22 says, and the plans of the diligent surely lead to profit as Proverbs 21:5 says. Do not be pressured to sign quickly, read every contract carefully, ask questions, and if possible have a trusted pastor or mature believer review it with you. If wisdom is lacking, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him as James 1:5 says.

Second, seek immediate help for daily bread without shame. God often provides through His people. We urge you to go to a local Bible believing church and make your needs known, for the church is called to bear one another's burdens as Galatians 6:2 says. Ask about food pantries, benevolence help, and community resources. Local churches, rescue missions, and food banks exist for such a time as this, and there is no shame in receiving help while you get back on your feet. Continue to seek work daily, consider day labor, temporary agencies, and any honest work available while you pursue more stable employment, and let your faithfulness in small things open doors to greater things.

Third, guard your heart against isolation and hopelessness about people. While man will disappoint, God places us in fellowship for a reason, not forsaking our own assembling together as Hebrews 10:25 says. We are thankful you have not given up hope in the Lord Jesus Christ, for it is only through His name that we have access to the Father, for there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus as 1 Timothy 2:5 says, and there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved as Acts 4:12 says. Your faith in Him is not in vain.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and we lift up this dear soul to You. You see the weariness, the hunger, the need for work and shelter, and the confusion and fear that has come from feeling targeted and trapped in unwise agreements. We ask You to be his refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble as Psalm 46:1 says. Provide for his daily bread, open a door for honest work where he can labor with integrity and provide for his needs, and lead him to a place of stability. Give him wisdom from above that is first pure, then peaceful as James 3:17 says, so that he will not enter lightly into contracts or entangling agreements, but will walk with prudence and counsel. Clothe him with the whole armor of God that he may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil as Ephesians 6:11 says, and let him know that You will never leave him nor forsake him as Hebrews 13:5 says. Renew his strength, for those who wait for the Lord will renew their strength as Isaiah 40:31 says, and cast all his anxiety on You because You care for him as 1 Peter 5:7 says. Let him cast his burden on the Lord and You will sustain him as Psalm 55:22 says, and give him peace that surpasses all understanding to guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus as Philippians 4:7 says. We ask that You lead him to faithful believers who will support, advise, and encourage him, and that You will guide his steps so that his work and his life bring glory to You. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

We encourage you to stay in the Word daily, to pray without ceasing as 1 Thessalonians 5:17 says, and to keep doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up as Galatians 6:9 says. God has not forgotten you. We have seen that the righteous has not been forsaken, nor his children begging for bread as Psalm 37:25 says. Keep trusting Him, keep seeking wise counsel, and keep taking the next faithful step forward, and He will direct your paths as Proverbs 3:5-6 says.

When you are offered a job or asked to sign something, it is wise to take the paperwork home, ask for time to review it, and have someone you trust read it with you before you agree. If you feel pressured to sign quickly, that is a good sign to pause.

Father, in Jesus name we bring our brother before You. You know his need for daily bread and steady work. Give him rest, clear wisdom for each decision, and faithful people to walk beside him. Guard his heart with Your peace and lead him step by step. Amen.

Your letter has been read with much prayer and heaviness of heart, and I thank you for speaking so plainly concerning your need and your weariness. You have done well to keep your hope in the Lord Jesus Christ when hope in men has grown thin. The Scriptures you have quoted are true and seasonable. It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man, and we do indeed wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers. To remember this is wisdom, for it keeps us from placing upon poor fallen creatures a weight they cannot bear, and it turns our eyes to Him who alone can save.

You describe feeling targeted and entangled, and you wonder whether you have rightly discerned the spiritual character of those in authority over you, and whether you have entered into agreements too hastily. Whether every impression has been exact or not, the Lord knows your frame and sees the distress these experiences have caused. He who cannot err, being perfect in wisdom, and who will not err, being perfect in holiness, is the most fitting person to rule. If He were not already King of kings and Lord of lords, doing as He wills among the armies of heaven and among the inhabitants of this lower world, the wisest of men would choose Him to reign. Your safety lies not in unraveling every hidden influence around you, but in bowing with submission to the will of God, for by that very submission we are furnished with unerring guidance.

Wisdom is the compass by which a man is to steer across the trackless waste of life, and without it he runs here and there as the wild ass's colt, wasting strength which might be profitably employed. Christ Himself is the power of God and the wisdom of God. He planned the way of salvation and He laid the pillars of heaven by His skill. His wisdom is your guidance, His love your shield, His fullness your storehouse. If you would have wisdom for daily bread and daily work, you must find it in Him and in the word of revelation.

Let me offer you counsel as a fellow pilgrim would, plainly and practically, for faith without works is not the faith that feeds the hungry.

First, seek the fellowship and help of a faithful local church. Make your need known to a pastor or elders. A true flock of Christ will not despise your poverty. Many congregations keep a food pantry, a benevolence fund, and a list of honest employers who will give a day's work to a willing hand. Do not bear this burden alone. The Lord often feeds His people through His people.

Second, for food and immediate stability, go at once to those provisions which God in His common grace has placed near you. Visit the church pantry, the community food bank, and the county or city social services office. In most places you may receive groceries, a hot meal, and information concerning assistance for rent or utilities without entering into any entangling contract. Ask the church where the trustworthy resources are, so you are not led to those who would take advantage of your need.

Third, concerning work, begin with what is simple and honest and within reach. Present yourself to the local workforce center, to temporary labor agencies of good repute, and to businesses that post daily help wanted notices. Seek labor that pays by the day or by the week at first, that you may have bread while you look for steadier employment. Be diligent, be punctual, be truthful, for holiness is near akin to perfect wisdom, and an honest workman commends the gospel he professes.

Fourth, concerning contracts and agreements, remember that haste is the author of a great deal of mischief in human life. Wisdom when attended with discourtesy may be shunned, but Divine Wisdom dressed in robes of love invites us to run into her arms, and one mark of that wisdom is this, avoid everything that is evil and avoid everything that is hasty. Never sign under pressure. Ask to take any paper home, read every line, and ask a mature believer or a legal aid clinic to read it with you. If a manager or landlord will not allow you time or counsel, that itself is sufficient reason to walk away. A good agreement will bear the light. Keep copies of all you sign, keep your identification and important papers in a safe place, and do not pledge money you do not have.

You are exhausted and discouraged, and that is no small trial. The Lord sees that His sheep are a weak flock and a wandering flock, and therefore He is their strength and their wisdom. It is only when the grace of God softens and sobers us that we begin to feel our need of a guide, and that feeling is itself a mercy, for it drives us to the Guide who never fails.

I pray for you now, and I trust many will join in this prayer. O Lord Jesus Christ, Thou art the wisdom and power of God, look upon this weary soul who trusts in Thee. Thou knowest his need for work and for bread, and Thou knowest the fears that have beset him. Give him wisdom from above, which is pure and peaceable, that he may discern the right path and avoid the snare. Provide for him daily bread, open a door of honest labor, place around him faithful counselors, and keep his feet from hasty bonds. Let him know that though princes cannot save, Thou canst, and Thou wilt never forsake those who take refuge in Thee. Comfort his heart, renew his strength, and guide him by Thy counsel until Thou shalt afterward receive him to glory. Amen.

Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and He shall sustain thee. Continue in prayer, continue in the Word, continue in the assembly of the saints, and continue in honest labor as God provides it. He who has kept thy faith will keep thy life.
