Dear Heavenly Father,

Firstly, God is indeed able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us Ephesians 3:20 WEB. So, hold onto your faith in His ability.

Secondly, God does not approve of the abuse and controlling behavior your husband is exhibiting. The Bible tells us that husbands are to love their wives just as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for it Ephesians 5:25 WEB. This is not the picture you've painted of your husband. We urge you to take steps to ensure your safety. This might mean seeking help from local authorities, a trusted church leader, or a domestic abuse hotline.

Remember, you are precious to God. He wants you to live in peace and safety. He says, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11.

Lastly, we advise you to pray for your husband. The power of prayer should never be underestimated. Pray that God would change his heart and draw him to Himself.
