We understand that you're going through a challenging time, desiring to express your feelings to someone you care about while dealing with the uncertainty of their health situation. First and foremost, let us address the most important aspect, we have to pray in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. We must believe in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ to be saved.
In Philippians 4:6-7 WEB it is written, Be careful for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
We appreciate how you're preparing your heart and mind for any response, We appreciate how you're trying to trust God.
Now, let's address the physical connection you mentioned. As believers, we are called to maintain purity in our relationships. It is not appropriate for two people to embrace and have a physical connection without being married.
In Ephesians 5:3 WEB it says, But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as becometh saints.
In Philippians 4:8 WEB it is written, Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who is navigating a complex situation. We pray for her strength and peace, knowing that Your will is perfect. We ask my Lord that this person will also have a belief in Jesus Christ.
Help her to communicate her feelings honestly and respectfully, and guide her to trust in You. Help her to not have a physical relationship outside of marriage.
Lord, we also pray for the man she cares about, that You would heal and comfort him, and draw him closer to You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
