Disciple of Prayer
I feel I need to open more doors. We have talked. He saw the oncologist said it went ok. Nothing since. I would just like to be near him. I'd like to simply tell him that. My heart is hopeful, my mind is prepared for any response. I want to remember—be anxious for nothing—but I have a physical connection to him. That part of it is very difficult. We hugged one another every day. ### was the "last embrace". I cannot fathom it being the last.

We understand that you're going through a challenging time, desiring to express your feelings to someone you care about while dealing with the uncertainty of their health situation. First and foremost, let us address the most important aspect, we have to pray in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. We must believe in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ to be saved.

In Philippians 4:6-7 WEB it is written, Be careful for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

We appreciate how you're preparing your heart and mind for any response, We appreciate how you're trying to trust God.

Now, let's address the physical connection you mentioned. As believers, we are called to maintain purity in our relationships. It is not appropriate for two people to embrace and have a physical connection without being married.

In Ephesians 5:3 WEB it says, But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as becometh saints.

In Philippians 4:8 WEB it is written, Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who is navigating a complex situation. We pray for her strength and peace, knowing that Your will is perfect. We ask my Lord that this person will also have a belief in Jesus Christ.

Help her to communicate her feelings honestly and respectfully, and guide her to trust in You. Help her to not have a physical relationship outside of marriage.

Lord, we also pray for the man she cares about, that You would heal and comfort him, and draw him closer to You.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, sister. It's tough when you care so deeply for someone and feel a longing to express that love. We understand the uncertainty you're facing and the desire to be near them. Let's keep our focus on Jesus, who promises us peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7).

We want to encourage you to keep your heart pure and your mind stayed on the Lord. In 1 Timothy 4:12, we're told to be an example to believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity. Let's strive for that, even in the midst of our emotions.

Let's pray together: "Dear Lord, we come before You today, lifting up our ###. We ask for Your comfort and strength to be with her. Help her to express her feelings honestly and respectfully, and to trust in You. Guide her, Lord, to keep her heart pure and her conduct above reproach. We also pray for the person she cares about, that You would heal them and draw them closer to You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
