Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We hear your desperate cry and stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting every burden to the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus. Your heart for your family, your ministry, and the lost is a testament to the Holy Spirit’s work within you, and we join you in declaring that no weapon formed against you or your loved ones shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

First, we pray for your physical healing, dear sister. The pain in your shoulder is not from the Lord, for He came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke the spirit of infirmity and command every broken bone, torn ligament, and inflamed tissue to align with God’s perfect design. By the stripes of Jesus, you are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we declare that your body will testify to His resurrection power. May the Holy Spirit strengthen you as you continue to walk your block and minister, for your labor in the Lord is never in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58).

For your precious granddaughter, we cry out for total deliverance from the grip of anorexia, which is a lying spirit that distorts God’s truth about her identity. We break the power of trauma, rejection, and perfectionism in Jesus’ name and declare that her worth is found in Christ alone (Ephesians 2:10). Her body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we pray for supernatural restoration, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. May the Lord open her eyes to see herself as He sees her: fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). We also rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that has taken root, replacing it with the perfect love of God that casts out all fear (1 John 4:18).

For your youngest daughter, we pray for a deep and holy conviction that leads to repentance. The world’s pursuits, perfectionism, vanity, and the love of money, are snares that choke the Word in her life (Mark 4:19). We declare that the Holy Spirit will arrest her heart and reveal the emptiness of chasing after the wind (Ecclesiastes 1:14). Father, soften her heart to receive Your correction and turn her from the path of stress and striving. We bind the spirit of control and release the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, to guard her heart and mind (Philippians 4:7). We also stand against the plans for cosmetic surgery, which is rooted in a spirit of discontentment and self-rejection. May she find her identity in Christ and embrace the beauty of holiness (1 Peter 3:3-4).

For your older daughter, we pray against the spirit of depression and despair that has taken hold. The enemy seeks to steal her joy, kill her hope, and destroy her testimony, but we declare that the joy of the Lord is her strength (Nehemiah 8:10). We rebuke the lies she has believed, that God is punishing her or that her life has no purpose, and replace them with the truth of Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.” May she encounter the love of the Father in a fresh way and find freedom from the words of death she has spoken. We also pray for unity between you, for where there is strife, there is confusion, but where there is unity, God commands a blessing (Psalm 133:1-3).

For all of you, yourself, your daughters, and your granddaughter, we pray for godly spouses who will love you as Christ loves the Church (Ephesians 5:25). Loneliness is a heavy burden, but the Lord is close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). We declare that He will bring companions who will sharpen you, encourage you, and walk with you in faith. Until then, may you find your ultimate fulfillment in Christ, who promises to never leave nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).

For your ministry, ###, we pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit that breaks chains and sets captives free. May the Lord add to your number daily those who are being saved (Acts 2:47), and may revival ignite on your street and beyond. We declare that your little church of ### will become a mighty army for the Kingdom, with signs, wonders, and miracles following (Mark 16:17-18).

Lastly, for your extended family, we pray for repentance and reconciliation. The enemy thrives in division, but the Lord desires unity (John 17:21). We break the spirit of judgment, offense, and alienation, and we declare that the blood of Jesus covers every sin and restores every broken relationship. May your family be a testimony to the world of God’s redeeming love.

Now, let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, lifting up our sister and her family to You. Lord, You see every tear, every pain, and every burden they carry. We ask for Your healing touch upon her shoulder, that she may be restored to full strength to continue the work You’ve called her to. For her granddaughter, we pray for complete deliverance from anorexia, fear, and trauma. Break every chain, Lord, and fill her with Your peace and truth. For her daughters, we pray for repentance, renewal, and revival. Turn their hearts fully to You and free them from the snares of the enemy. Father, we ask for godly spouses for each of them, men who will love them as Christ loves the Church. May Your Holy Spirit move mightily in their midst, bringing unity, joy, and purpose. For her ministry and street revival, we pray for an outpouring of Your Spirit that transforms lives and communities. And for her extended family, we pray for repentance and restoration. Lord, let Your will be done in every situation, and may Your name be glorified. We declare all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

Stand firm, dear sister. The battle belongs to the Lord, and He is already moving on your behalf. Keep walking in faith, keep ministering in love, and keep trusting in His promises. You are not alone, we are standing with you, and heaven is fighting for you.

We’re so moved by your heart for your family and your faithfulness to the Lord, even in the midst of so much pain and burden. Your love for your daughters and granddaughter, and your street ministry, speak of a deep trust in God that weathers storms.

We want to first encourage you to have your shoulder looked at by a doctor, if you haven’t already. A bad fall and this level of pain could mean something that needs professional attention, and getting that care isn’t a lack of faith, it’s wisdom to steward the body God’s given you. We’ll be praying for healing, but we also want you to be safe and well enough to keep walking your block and calling out to your neighbors.

Your granddaughter’s long battle with anorexia weighs heavily, and we hear how her environment and the pressure she feels have made everything harder. This is a struggle that touches body, mind, and spirit, and it often takes a team to walk through it well. Even as you war in prayer for her deliverance, we’d gently urge that she, and perhaps her mom as well, find a trusted professional or a faith-informed counselor who understands eating disorders. You don’t carry this alone; God raises up helpers alongside the prayers of the saints.

And you, dear sister, you’ve been so poured out. The loneliness, the longing for unity in your home, and the ache to see your family walking in freedom are not unnoticed. We stand with you, asking God to break chains of anxiety, fear, unforgiveness, and deep roots of rejection. He sees the anointing on your granddaughter, the weight your daughters carry, and your own body crying out. You are not forgotten.

Let’s pray:

Father, thank You for being everything to this woman. Please touch her shoulder with Your healing power, and give her wisdom to seek the care she needs. Bring freedom and life to her granddaughter, break the grip of anorexia and the pain beneath it, and surround her with safe, wise help. Draw both her daughters to repentance and rest; quiet the striving and perfectionism, and block any plans that would harm. Replace stress with Your peace, loneliness with Your presence, and division with real affection and unity in that home. Revive their street, their church, their family. We ask all this in Jesus’ name, trusting You to move mightily. Amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect, deliver, heal, save (those not saved) and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. I ask this for them, us and all in need. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

The pain you bear in your shoulder is no small thing, yet if it drives you to the mercy-seat, it shall prove a strange mercy in disguise, for He is there. You cry for deliverance, and well you do: deliverance from the cruel captivity of sorrow and sin must be worked by the hand and outstretched arm of Jehovah alone. He has found a ransom, His own dear Son, and therefore He will bring forth His people from their Egypt, not leaving them to the archers of fear and division. The clock of mercy shall strike the hour of your relief, for the time is appointed.

But your deepest wound is for your daughters and granddaughter, and you beg for their repentance. Oh, beware of a superficial repentance, born of fear or mere trouble, for the Lord is not mocked. True repentance is the gift of God, preached in the name of Jesus, and it always walks hand in hand with remission of sins. It is not the empty tear that is soon dried, but a turning from sin with an everlasting hatred, because the love of Christ has pardoned it. This repentance gives God glory; it pulls down the rotten timbers of pride and self, and faith builds up Christ as the sole Master of the heart. Pray, then, that the Holy Spirit would grant them this repentance unto life, and do not cease your cries until they hate their sin and look only to Christ, for where true repentance is, there is full and free forgiveness.

Loneliness, too, is a bitter cup. Your Savior knows it well; He was left alone, just when as man He most needed sympathy. When you feel friendless, when even those in your own house speak harshly, remember you are but walking a path He trod before you. Yet He was never truly alone, for the Father was with Him, and so it is with you. If the Spirit draws you to the mercy-seat, you may be certain God is there. Cast all your fears upon Him; He is able to keep that which you have committed unto Him. Let Jacob’s wrestling be your example, he crossed the brook full of fear, but Esau fell on his neck and kissed him. So shall it be with your family strife, with the spirit of offense and the root of rejection. God will bring deliverance, and He shall have all the glory.

Your ministry among the homeless, the firebrands in your backyard, tells me you care for souls. The revival you seek on your street and in your little church will come as you continue in prayer, for no true work of deliverance is wrought without the outpoured Spirit. The iron bars of sin and despondency cannot stand against the risen Christ. He brings forth His captives with silver and gold; none shall lack His provision. Even now, in your pain, lift your eyes: the Sun of Righteousness shall rise with healing beneath His wings, and you shall sit by the well’s brink, refreshed and delivered from every fear. Be of good courage; the Deliverer is mighty, and the ransom has been fully paid.

Father, we bring Your precious daughter before You. Heal her shoulder completely and remove all pain. We lift up her granddaughter ###—break the grip of anorexia, anxiety, OCD, and fear. Heal her broken heart, remove the blockage in her throat, and restore her body fully. We pray for her daughter ###—bring her to repentance, remove the love of money, stop the nose job, and heal her body from stress, thyroid issues, and HPV. Restore her period and bring peace to her home. We pray for her older daughter ###—lift the depression, replace it with the joy of the Lord, and heal their relationship so they can walk in unity and friendship. Break the spirit of offense, rejection, abandonment, and unforgiveness over this family. Bring godly spouses in Your perfect timing. Send revival to ### Street and to their little church—pour out Your Spirit, break chains, and bring salvation to the neighbors. Heal family alienation and bring repentance and restoration to the extended family. Protect her ministry to the homeless and street people. Let the Holy Spirit move mightily in their midst.

You cry out from the depths of your heart, and God hears such cries. The pain in your shoulder and the far deeper pain over your daughters and granddaughter do not escape His notice. I cannot offer you only soft words, for you have come seeking a word in season. When the soul is sick, we often do not feel it, but when the body is hurt we rush to the physician. Yet God sometimes permits the body to ache so that the soul may be stirred to seek healing. That fall and that pain may be His merciful goad, calling you to examine if any sin lies unconfessed, any root of bitterness untended. For Christ Himself said to the paralytic after healing him, “Sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.” Take it as a warning sent in love, not a punishment without purpose.

Your family’s afflictions weigh heavily: anorexia, stress, perfectionism, a planned surgery that wounds the soul, depression, disrespect, isolation, and the spirit of offense. You see clearly that these are spiritual battles. And yet, you must also see that often such chains are forged in the furnace of our own unrepented sins and worldly attachments. You pray for your daughter to be brought to repentance, to stop chasing the world. But I must ask: have you, with tears and yet with holy boldness, spoken the sharp truth to her in love? The preacher cannot always avoid giving pain to his hearers; he must wound that he may heal. If you have been timid, fearing her displeasure, then you have withheld the medicine that might cure. For as it is written, “Faithful are the wounds of a friend.” Do not merely pray against that nose job; confront her with the vanity of altering what God has made, and warn her that she is dragging her daughter into the same pit of self-loathing. Will it gall her? Yes. But it were far better to endure a bitter word now than for both to fall into the bitter reality of hell later. Nothing is more delightful than this kind of discourse, because it keeps off that far more dreadful pain.

Do not be surprised that the battle intensifies even as you grow older and more earnest. I have often taught that when the righteous are near the end of their conflicts, God often enhances their struggles that they may gain the greater crown. So it was with Abraham at the end. Your loneliness, the lack of spouses, the feeling that you are alone in your backyard ministry on ###, all these are permitted for a time. Lift up your eyes. The promise of rest remains. I would much rather speak to you of green pastures and still waters where sorrow and sighing flee away. But you are still in the wilderness, and you must endure the training. Your ministry to the homeless is precious, but see that it is not a substitute for the harder work within your own household. The devil wages war especially against kindred, seeking to destroy the bonds of nature. You cry for unity, for your daughter to want to be around you: then become so full of the fragrance of Christ that she is drawn, not by sentiment, but by conviction. Put away all self-pity and every word that breeds division. When she speaks disrespectfully, answer with a meek and quiet spirit, which is of great price before God.

I am fully persuaded that if you continue to hear the word with eager desire, if you persist in walking your block and calling out your neighbors, if you do not cease to cry out to God from the depths, your family will yet bring forth fruit. How many have heard ten times and remained insensible, yet afterward at one hearing have been converted! Do not imagine that your prayers and admonitions have failed because you see no immediate change. The tree may receive ten strokes and not fall, then a single blow brings it down. That last blow succeeds because of the ten that went before. So your consistent witness, your fasting, your groaning over their souls is hewing at the root of wickedness. Keep calling them to repentance, not with nagging but with a broken heart. Your physical pain, your weariness, offer it up as a living sacrifice. Let Satan not stop your prayers? Then let him find you still on your knees, even with a throbbing shoulder, calling down fire from heaven on your neighborhood and on your stubborn children.

Do not seek the easy way. I know it pains you to hear such things, and it pains me to say them, but I am compelled. You asked for a mighty move of God; that move often begins with a deep unsettling. May the Holy Spirit break every chain, bring down the spirit of offense, and fill you and your household with such a fear of God that all worldly lusts grow dim. And may you all, having been made whole, sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you. Stand fast. The end of your conflict is nearer than when you first believed.
