In a Panic

Please pray that this won't happen. I am hearing that my plant will have some more layoffs and a possible 20% pay decrease for the rest of the year. I am going through a divorce which I don't want and a 20% hit will make things almost impossible for me to make ends meet right now. Please pray that senior management won't try to make their numbers by breaking the backs of their employees. I know it is a tough year, but this would be an extremely short sited plan.

Lord Jesus, I come to you today with thanksgiving in my heart. I ask your hand upon Stephen. I ask for intervention. May you speak to the hearts of the supervisiors and people in charge at this work place. May you soften their hearts and help them find another way to deal with this economy. I pray that they will show their integrity by showing care and concern for those who have helped make their business function.

I pray that they would not do a pay cut, that they would do the right thing and put their faith and trust in you to prosper their business during these difficult times. Lord,
