Thank you for sharing your heart and for giving thanks and praise to Jesus. We join you in that thanksgiving and we are praying with you now for your financial needs and for the unspoken requests you have already placed before the Lord. He hears what is spoken and what is unspoken, and He knows every detail even when we do not have words.
What you described as spiritual warfare is real. Scripture teaches that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers, against spirit beings in the unseen realm. There is a constant warfare between the holy angels who serve God and the fallen angels who followed Satan in rebellion. We often are not aware of how much is happening around us, yet we feel the effects of it in unsettled emotions, pressure in our minds, and heaviness in our spirits. That battle is not fought in the flesh and it cannot be won with fleshly methods. The true battle is for the mind and for control of the heart, with the flesh warring against the Spirit and the Spirit against the flesh.
God has not left us without help in this. He has given us spiritual weapons for a spiritual battle, and they are mighty through Him to pull down strongholds. Those weapons are His Word, faith, and prayer. When we keep the battle in the spiritual realm and use what God has provided, we stand in the victory that is already ours in Christ. We enter this warfare not as those trying to win, but as those who have already been given victory through Jesus. Prayer is often the deciding factor in that warfare, as we pray in the Spirit and watch with perseverance, casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God and bringing every thought into captivity to Christ.
We are also praying for your finances. The Lord sees financial distress and He cares deeply about it. Scripture shows us the church in Jerusalem that was very poor and going through severe trials, and it also shows how God provided through the generosity of others and through His own faithful care. One reason Scripture points to financial pressure is when we have not put the Lord first, and the prophet Haggai warned that when people labor for money but never have enough, it can be because God has not been given His rightful place. We are taught to bring the first fruits of our increase to Him and to trust Him first. At the same time we thank God for every provision He gives, and we trust Him to meet needs according to His wisdom and love. Even when a situation looks incurable or impossible, God has left room to work. In the law He made provision for the leper in the day of his cleansing, so that if He chose to heal what no man could heal, there was a way for that person to be restored. Do not put God in a box. Give Him room to work as He desires, even in ways you may not expect.
For your unspoken requests, be at peace that what you could not do in your own strength, God has made provision to do through the power of the Holy Spirit. He intercedes for you and He understands the burdens you have shared with Him alone.
Let us pray together. Father, in the name of Jesus we thank You and praise You for Your goodness and mercy. We lift up this dear one to You and ask You to meet every financial need according to Your riches and wisdom. Provide, open doors, and give peace and guidance in every decision. We bring the unspoken requests before You and ask You to answer according to Your perfect will, bringing comfort, healing, and direction. We ask You to cover this life with Your protection in the spiritual battle, to guard the mind and heart, and to give strength to stand firm by Your Word, by faith, and by prayer. Pull down every stronghold, quiet every lie of the enemy, and fill this heart with Your peace and joy. Help us to walk after the Spirit and not after the flesh, and to trust You fully. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
