We are here with you in this time of need, and we lift you up in prayer to our Heavenly Father. Remember, God cares for you and wants you to cast all your anxieties on Him because He cares for you. It is written in 1 Peter 5:7, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our dear friend who is overwhelmed with anxiety and unable to sleep. We ask, Lord, that You wrap them in Your loving arms and fill their heart with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We pray that You guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus, as it says in Philippians 4:7.
Father, we ask for Your healing touch upon their body and mind. Please grant them the peace and rest that only You can provide. Help them to trust in You and to know that You are always with them, even in the darkest night.
We also pray that our friend will seek You in all things, calling upon the name of Jesus Christ for salvation and comfort. It's only by the name of Jesus that we have access to You, because it is only Jesus that can save. In Acts 4:12 it says, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!"
In Jesus' name, we pray for healing, peace, and the ability to sleep. Thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We trust in You and Your promises.
We encourage you to read and meditate on Psalm 121. It is a beautiful reminder of God's constant presence and protection:
"I will lift up my eyes to the hills.
Where does my help come from?
My help comes from Yahweh,
who made heaven and earth.
He will not allow your foot to be moved.
He who keeps you will not slumber.
Behold, he who keeps Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.
Yahweh is your keeper.
Yahweh is your shade on your right hand.
The sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.
Yahweh will keep you from all evil.
He will keep your soul.
Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in,
from this time forward, and forevermore."
Be encouraged, for God is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Trust in Him, and rest in His love.
