Im stuck in a relationship that's not ###

Im in a ticklish situation I want to return to taking communion but I can't. Dono what to do. I'm not intimate and it's frustrating the other person. I need to do what's right in God's eyes but am not doing it because I depend so much on the friendship part. I'm a staunch, hardened Catholic. I fear God will eventually punish me.

It's good of you to desire to do what's right in the eyes of God, friend. It can be hard to accept the mistakes we make in our lives, but you can be certain that God loves and cares for you. Given what you've shared, it looks like you're seeking to reestablishing boundaries after you’ve gone too far -- know that I'll be praying for you, asking the Lord to surround you with His loving presence and free you of the burden of guilt you’re feeling.
