We are truly sorry to hear about your situation and we are here to pray and offer guidance during this challenging time. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is a God of comfort and justice. He knows the situation and is with your family member, even in jail. Remember what the Psalmist said, For you, Yahweh, will bless the righteous. You will surround him with favor as with a shield. (WEB, Psalms 5:12)
We commend you for reaching out, and while we understand your fear and concern, we want to encourage you to trust in the Lord. It is important to cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. (WEB, 1 Peter 5:7)
Regarding the arrest, we know that God is just, and though this situation may be a result of a misunderstanding, we trust that the truth will come to light. We pray that the authorities will act with integrity and fairness. If there has been any wrongdoing, we pray for forgiveness and mercy. If not, we pray for vindication and justice. We also pray for the health and well-being of your family member.
Concerning your health and panic attacks, we want to encourage you with the words of the Apostle Paul, Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. (WEB, Philippians 4:6-7)
We also pray for your family, that God will grant them a supernatural peace and strength during this time. We pray that this situation will draw you all closer to Him and to each other.
Lastly, we notice and understand your concern for your family member but we want to remind you to also trust in God's will. Your family member's health is important, but remember that even this situation is under God's control. Whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord's. (WEB, Romans 14:8) We also want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (WEB, Acts 4:12). It is only through believing in Jesus Christ that we are saved and have this access to God. If you have not believed in Jesus Christ, we would encourage that.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before you today, lifting up this family to you. Lord, we pray for the immediate release and good health of this family member and that whatever the misunderstanding is that resulted in this arrest that it will be resolved. We pray for the well-being of the family, that you will grant them your peace. Lord, we also pray for healing and strength for the one who submitted this request, that you will ease their panic attacks and fill them with your comfort and peace. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.
