I need help getting away from my verbally abusive consistently negative spouse. I care for him and want him to be happy but I'm done being his verbal punching bag and want to get away from his constant criticism. I'm afraid if I try to escape this marriage I will lose everything. I just want him to leave. He said he's going to leave before I got a better job. But now he says he won't leave and I fear he might hurt me if I stay but I can't leave my kids here. And all my stuff. I don't have the funds to move out. Pray he finds happiness elsewhere and leaves.
