I have requested documents regarding taxes from my ex-husband for the past 6 years (I have given mine to him) as per our divorce agreement. The child support has been the same for years as we have not had his tax info to make any adjustments according to income. I have 4 kids. It is coming up in June that my youngest will be graduating and all support will stop. I still have 2 children at home with me who are going to post-secondary school. Before signing our final papers, I would like the tax info as I believe the financial support has been marginalized and not accurate. In prayer, I have been advised to take this petition to the high courts and ask Jesus to plead my case. How do I do this well. ###

Holy God and loving Father, I consciously place my fears, worries, anxieties, and burdens in your hands. I know that I have so little power to change the outcome of these events and I trust that you will work what is pleasing to you, and best for me, out of these situations. Forgive me for my anxious thoughts and for letting my own worry become an idol that robs you of my full trust. Strengthen and empower me to trust you more by the power and presence of your Spirit.
