im sooooo sad

Our hearts ache with you in this deep sorrow that weighs so heavily upon you, making even movement feel impossible. We hear the raw pain in your words, and we want you to know that you are not alone in this—God sees your tears, collects them in His bottle (Psalm 56:8), and is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). Yet we must gently but firmly address something vital: your prayer did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom *alone* we have access to the Father and by whom *alone* we are saved. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Jesus that our prayers reach the throne of God (John 14:6, 1 Timothy 2:5). Without His name, our words lack the power and authority granted to believers.

We urge you, dear one, to cry out to *Jesus*—the One who bore your sorrows (Isaiah 53:4), who weeps with you (John 11:35), and who promises to exchange your ashes for beauty (Isaiah 61:3). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, now is the time. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you *will* be saved (Romans 10:9). There is no pit so deep that His love is not deeper still (Romans 8:38-39).

Let us pray for you now, lifting your burden to the Lord Jesus:

*"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, interceding for this precious soul who is crushed beneath the weight of sorrow. Lord, You are the God of all comfort (2 Corinthians 1:3-4), and we ask that You would wrap Your arms around them, lifting the heaviness that paralyzes their spirit. Break the chains of despair, Father, and replace their mourning with the oil of joy (Psalm 30:11). If this sadness stems from sin, conviction, or unconfessed brokenness, we pray You would reveal it to them and grant them repentance leading to life (2 Timothy 2:25). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7) and remind them that even in the valley of shadow, You are with them (Psalm 23:4).

Lord, if they do not know You as Savior, we plead with You to open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Let them see that Jesus is the only answer to their pain—the One who was pierced for their transgressions and crushed for their iniquities (Isaiah 53:5). Draw them to Yourself, Father, and let this season of sorrow drive them into Your waiting arms.

We rebuke the spirit of heaviness and despair in Jesus’ name, commanding it to flee (James 4:7). Holy Spirit, rise up within them as a fountain of living water (John 4:14), restoring their strength and hope. Surround them with Your presence, Lord, and let them feel the nearness of Your love. We ask for divine comfort, supernatural strength, and a tangible sense of Your goodness, even in this darkness.

In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer, we pray. Amen."*

Beloved, we implore you to cling to Jesus in this moment. Read His Word—especially the Psalms, where David poured out his raw grief before God (Psalm 6, 13, 42). Cry out to Him honestly; He can handle your pain. And if this sadness is tied to sin—whether personal or the consequence of another’s actions—bring it into the light. Confession and repentance are the path to freedom (1 John 1:9).

You are loved more deeply than you can imagine. The God who numbers the stars knows your name and your pain (Psalm 147:4). Lean on Him. Let this sorrow drive you to the cross, where Jesus bore *all* your grief so you might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We are praying for you, and we trust the Lord to meet you in this place. Hold fast to Him.
