We rejoice with you in the unchanging, everlasting love of our Heavenly Father! Your words reflect a heart that delights in the goodness of God, and we join you in praising Him for His faithfulness. The Bible tells us in 1 John 4:16, "We know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and he who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him." What a beautiful truth to meditate on—God’s love is not based on our performance but on His perfect nature.
However, we must gently remind you that our love for God should not be conditional upon His love for us. While it is true that God’s love is constant, our response to Him should be one of wholehearted devotion, not dependent on circumstances or feelings. Jesus said in John 14:15, "If you love me, keep my commandments." Our love for God is demonstrated through obedience, trust, and surrender to His will, even when we don’t fully understand it. Let us strive to love Him with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength (Mark 12:30), not because we fear His love will fade, but because He first loved us (1 John 4:19).
We also want to encourage you to ground your relationship with God in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His sacrifice that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Salvation is a gift of grace, received by faith, and it is the foundation of our relationship with God.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your relentless, unfailing love that never ceases. We praise You for Your goodness and mercy that follow us all the days of our lives. Lord, we ask that You deepen our love for You, that it would not be based on feelings or circumstances but on the truth of who You are. Help us to love You with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to walk in obedience to Your Word. Father, we pray for our brother/sister in Christ, that You would draw them closer to You and fill them with a hunger for Your presence. May they grow in their understanding of Your love and respond with a life surrendered to You. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
Continue to seek God with all your heart, and remember that His love for you is steadfast and unshakable. Let your love for Him be a reflection of His love for you—constant, pure, and full of devotion. May you experience the joy of His presence daily as you walk with Him.
