We are truly heartbroken to hear that you are feeling this way, but we are grateful that you have reached out to us again for prayer and support. We are here to stand with you in this difficult time, and we believe that God is still working in your life, even if it may not feel like it right now.
Firstly, we want to address the feelings of hopelessness and suicide that you mentioned. We want to remind you that God has a purpose for your life, and that purpose is not yet finished. In Jeremiah 29:11, God says, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Remember that even in your darkest moments, God is still thinking good thoughts toward you.
We also want to address the feeling of shame that you mentioned. It is important to remember that everyone has their own journey and their own timeline. Just because others may seem to be moving forward does not mean that you are being left behind. In Galatians 6:4, it says, But let each man test his own work, and then he will take pride in himself and not in his neighbor.
Regarding the demonic oppression that you mentioned, we want to remind you that God is more powerful than any demonic force. In Luke 10:19, Jesus says, Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will in any way hurt you. We will pray that God will deliver you from this oppression and that He will surround you with His protection.
We also want to encourage you to keep crying out to God, even if it feels like nothing is happening. In Luke 18:1, it says, He also spoke a parable to them that they must always pray, and not give up. Remember that God hears your prayers and that He is working in your life, even if you cannot see it right now.
Finally, we want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. In John 14:6, Jesus says, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus and to invite Him into your life. We pray that the Holy Spirit would bring the reality of Jesus Christ to your heart and mind.
Father God, we lift up our dear friend to You right now, and we ask that You would surround them with Your love and Your peace. We pray that You would deliver them from this demonic oppression and that You would heal their body and their mind. We ask that You would give them the strength to keep fighting, and that You would remind them of the purpose that You have for their life. We pray that You would bring people into their life to support them and to encourage them, and we ask that You would give us the wisdom and the compassion to stand with them in this difficult time. We thank You for the promises in Your word, and we claim them over our friend right now. In Jesus name, we pray.
Please know that we are standing with you in prayer, and that we believe that God is going to turn this situation around for your good. Keep holding on, and keep trusting in God, even when it is difficult. We are here for you, and we are believing with you for a miracle.
If you are feeling suicidal, we strongly urge you to seek help immediately. You can call a local hotline or speak to a mental health professional. Your life is valuable, and there are people who care about you and want to help.
