I'm praying for my brother, who has hurt, alienated, denigrated, shamed, and lost the love of his children, his wife, and me. He hoards money, stole my money, enjoys my poverty, being the person who controls and has power. He claims Christianity, but I see none in him. He won't look at himself, why he is left with his pennies and no people to love him. I ask you, Lord, to touch his heart, to stand by his side and whisper in his ear. To heal him of this selfish, self-centered, self-protecting need for control and always being right. I know he is miserable. He does not have to be miserable. Everyone would forgive him, if he made a step to change his ways. I ask you, Lord, to make this possible. Whatever it takes in him or to change him, You know what it is, and it's too complex for we little humans. Forgive him all the pain he has caused and help him find himself as a good person and an asset to his family and to society. Thank you. Amen.
