I pray the Lord will speak to my 2 girls and direct them back home. They decided to move with their dad several months ago and my life has never been the same. I really miss having them around and just hearing their voices and laughter. I learned part of the reason the girls left is because I am too strict and there are too many rules and curfews to abide by. I also learned that at dad's house it's the complete opposite. They have no curfew and can come and go as they please just as long as they communicate with the dad. He bought my 17-year-old a car, and they are out late at night experimenting with alcohol and weed. They are so happy to have the freedom they always wanted, and it's destroying them right in front of my eyes. I have been so faithful to prayer and don't know what else to do. After the divorce 6 years ago, I had custody of the girls and the dad was absent the whole time. However, he is in trouble with the Child Support Agency for not paying 1 cent since the divorce and to stop the amount from accumulating, he has taken me to court to establish custody of the girls. In the process, he has taken them on trips, bought them all kinds of gifts including a car, and gives them money regularly. Now the girls live with him, he lets them do whatever they want as long as they stay with him. They are old enough to speak to the judge and express how much fun it is living with dad. They feel the reason dad is showering them with all the gifts is because he missed them these past few years. I know the Lord is faithful to His word and He has us exactly where He wants us to be, I just need to stay strong so I pray for strength. I have trouble sleeping and just want them home. I honestly feel like I already lost my oldest daughter because she's almost 18 and NEVER comes around. But I believe there's hope for my 14-year-old. She has told me she doesn't feel loved at all at her dad's house; she says she misses cooking with me and doing things together. But it's her sister that wants her to stay because she doesn't want to be there alone.... Please lift us in prayer in hopes the girls will see everything for what it really is. It's in your precious name I pray, Amen.
