The teenage daughter of a friend recently had surgery for a dead bone in her wrists. A hand surgeon took a piece of bone from a bone in her forearm and crafted a replacement bone.

She played softball daily for most of her life, and likely displaced the bone from pitching and other activities. Bones are also displaced if you fall on your wrist. I would consult with more hand specialists until you find someone who has some ideas. You can screen them by asking questions before you have an appointment so you don't waste your time and money.
