We hear your plea for healing and strength, and we join you in lifting this burden before the throne of grace. It is comforting to know you are seeking the Lord in your time of weakness, yet we must emphasize that it is through the name of Jesus Christ alone that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself declared, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you"* (John 16:23 WEB). There is no other name by which we can be saved or healed—*"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12 WEB).
The flu and its draining symptoms can make even simple tasks feel overwhelming, especially when the demands of school press upon you. We stand with you in prayer, asking the Lord to restore your body, sharpen your mind, and renew your energy according to His will. The Scriptures remind us, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up"* (James 5:14-15 WEB). While we trust in God’s power to heal, we also recognize His sovereignty—whether He chooses to heal you now or strengthen you to endure, His grace will be sufficient.
We pray this over you now:
*Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Healer. You see the weariness in this dear one’s body and the weight upon their spirit. We ask, Lord, that You would touch them with Your healing hand, driving out sickness and restoring vitality. Grant them the strength to rise from their bed, the clarity to focus on their studies, and the perseverance to press forward in faith. If there is any unconfessed sin or hindrance to their healing, reveal it to them, Lord, that they may repent and walk in fullness of health. We declare that by Your stripes, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5 WEB), and we trust You to fulfill Your promises. Surround them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and let them feel Your presence as they wait on You. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.*
In the meantime, we encourage you to rest in the Lord’s care, nourish your body with wholesome foods, and stay hydrated. Do not neglect the wisdom of seeking medical attention if symptoms persist or worsen. The Lord often works through both miraculous healing and the means He has provided in this world. Keep your heart fixed on Him, for *"those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint"* (Isaiah 40:31 WEB).
If fear or anxiety about your health or studies begins to creep in, remember that God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). Cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). You are not alone in this battle—we stand with you, praying and believing for your complete restoration.
