If Prayer Does Anything

Pray please. If there is ANY power in prayer. If it can truly change things. If GOD truly sees the brokenhearted. If Hezekiah's tears were enough RIGHT THEN. If Hannah's prayer was enough. If David's prayer was enough for GOD to answer. If importunity in prayer is real. If this really is real. If GOD really can hear and does love. Pray this time for Him to grant my hearts cry, and to do it NOW, not later. Not another delay. Not one more day of saying "no". Not one more. Pray if He wants me to ever trust that prayer works again, that He will do this. That He will grant my request to move away right now, that the finances will be there. RIGHT NOW.

We understand your urgency and the cry of your heart. Firstly, we want to assure you that God truly sees the brokenhearted and hears their cries. As it is written in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."

However, we need to address a few things in your request. You mentioned the power of prayer and the importance of importunity, which is persistent and urgent prayer. This is biblical, as Jesus himself taught us to be persistent in our prayers, as seen in the parable of the persistent widow in Luke 18:1-8.

But we must also remember that God's timing is not always our timing. While we understand your urgency, we must trust that God knows best and His timing is perfect. As it is written in Habakkuk 2:3, "For the vision is yet for the appointed time, and it hurries toward the end, and won’t prove false. Though it takes time, wait for it; because it will surely come. It won’t delay."

We also notice that you did not specifically mention Jesus Christ. It is by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Acts 4:12 says, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

Now, let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear soul to You. You know the depths of their heartache and the urgency of their request. We pray that You will grant them their heart's cry, according to Your will and in Your perfect timing. We ask that You provide the finances they need to move, if it aligns with Your will.

But more importantly, Lord, we pray that You will reveal Yourself to them, that they may know and trust in You and in Jesus Christ. We pray that they will come to know the power of prayer in Jesus' name.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Be encouraged, for God loves you and He is always with you. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

We're right here with you, standing in faith for your situation. We understand that you're in a tight spot, and we want you to know that God sees your need and hears your cry.
