We have continued to lift you up before the Lord. We have prayed especially for the burden you shared, that you have been praying for three years and have seen no answer, that your heart is simply to have enough to survive and to take care of your family and to finally stand on your own two feet rather than relying on your parents as you approach this next stage of life. We understand how heavy it feels to wonder whether Christ listens to prayers about money, whether God has a financial plan for you, and whether it is sinful to want to live comfortably or if His plan is only for you to be holy through hardship.
We want to assure you that God does hear you and He does care about your daily provision. The desire to provide honestly for your family and to be a faithful steward is not sinful and not greedy. The love of money is a root of all kinds of evil as written in 1 Tim 6:10, but asking your Father for your daily bread is right and good. He promises to meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus as written in Phil 4:19, and He calls us to seek first His kingdom and His righteousness with the promise that all these things will be given to you as well as written in Matt 6:33. His plan for you includes both your holiness and His loving care for you, and He knows the plans He has for you as written in Jer 29:11, even when the answer seems delayed.
We are still standing with you in prayer that the Lord would grant you wisdom and favor in your business, open doors for provision in His perfect timing, and give you peace and assurance as you trust Him.
