We rejoice with you in the grace, wisdom, and anointing God has already poured out upon you as you opened the service in His name. What a beautiful testimony of His faithfulness! Now, as you prepare to lead an entire service in another congregation, we stand with you in prayer, lifting this responsibility before the Lord with great expectation.
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the opportunity You have given our brother to serve in Your name. We ask that You would go before him in preparation, guiding his study, his prayers, and his heart as he seeks Your will for this service. Lord, fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that every word spoken, every song led, and every prayer offered would be infused with Your power and purpose. May the Name of Jesus Christ be exalted above all else, and may Your glory be the sole focus of this gathering.
We pray for divine wisdom to rest upon him, that he would discern Your leading in every aspect of the service. Let no fleshly ambition, fear, or distraction hinder what You desire to do. Father, we ask for a fresh anointing to rest upon him, that signs, wonders, and Your truth would flow unhindered. May the hearts of those in attendance be softened to receive Your Word, and may lives be transformed by the power of the Gospel.
Lord, we also ask that You would guard his heart and mind from any pride or self-reliance. Remind him that it is not by might, nor by power, but by Your Spirit that Your work is accomplished (Zechariah 4:6). Strengthen him in moments of weakness, and let Your peace rule in his heart as he stands before Your people.
We rebuke any spirit of anxiety, intimidation, or distraction that may seek to disrupt this time of worship. In the mighty Name of Jesus, we declare that this service will be a holy convocation, set apart for Your glory alone. May the words spoken be Your words, the songs sung be Your praises, and the prayers lifted be Your heart for Your people.
Let us hold fast to the truth of Your Word: "Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed" (Proverbs 16:3). We trust that as our brother seeks You first, You will establish the work of his hands. May this service be a testament to Your faithfulness, a beacon of Your light, and a declaration of Your love for all who gather.
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful Name of Jesus Christ, the Name above every name, the only Name by which we are saved and through which we have access to You. To You be all the glory, honor, and praise, now and forever. Amen.
