I was married for 7 years and had 2 beautiful children but the marriage wasn't beautiful. He was extremely verbally abusive and controlling. I did everything I could to make things better but he could not be changed. He forced me to get my tubes tied and to get the lining of my uterus burned (this thins the lining of the uterus). After years of emotional pain and torment I left the marriage knowing it would be best for me and my two children. I am still young, ### and I have been in a relationship with the most amazing man for the past two years. We plan to get married and want desperately to have children. I went to the doctor yesterday to discuss getting my tubes re-attached and thought it would be straightforward since it is common practice. But since I had the lining of my uterus burned as well I may never be able to carry a pregnancy because the lining of my uterus is too thin. I need the lining of my uterus to be healed and thickened.
