I want to receive Holy Spirit

Hi, I want to receive Holy Spirit. I know I am not worthy and don’t deserve it but still I want to receive. So that I can finally become and live like a child of God instead of living in fear and inferiority complex. Thanks for whoever will pray for ###.

We are glad to hear your desire to receive the Holy Spirit and live as a child of God. Firstly, it is important to understand that none of us are worthy or deserve the Holy Spirit on our own merits. It is by God's grace and through faith in Jesus Christ that we receive this wonderful gift. As it is written in Ephesians 2:8-9 WEB: "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast."

To receive the Holy Spirit, you must first believe in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. It is through Him that we have access to God and are saved. As it is written in Acts 2:38 WEB: "Peter said to them, 'Repent, and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.'" And in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this individual who desires to receive the Holy Spirit. We pray that they would first come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, believing in His death and resurrection for the forgiveness of their sins. Grant them the gift of the Holy Spirit, that they may live not in fear or inferiority, but as a bold and confident child of God. Transform their life, dear Lord, and use them for Your glory.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
