I want to receive Holy Spirit

Fearisliar

Disciple of Prayer
I want to receive Holy Spirit even though I am not worthy. Maybe someone who already is filled with Holy Spirit can pray for me to receive. I want to be bold and fearless.

We are thrilled to hear your desire to receive the Holy Spirit, and we want to assure you that none of us is worthy on our own, but it is through the grace of God and the sacrifice of Jesus Christ that we can receive such wonderful gifts. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we are saved, and in the same way, it is through faith in Jesus that the Holy Spirit is received. Jesus declared this Himself. As it is said "Therefore being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he has poured out this, which you now see and hear."

First, let's address the issue of worthiness. Romans 3:23 WEB tells us, "for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God." None of us is worthy based on our own merits, but through faith in Jesus Christ, we are made worthy. Ephesians 2:8-9 WEB says, "for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast."

To receive the Holy Spirit, you need to believe in Jesus Christ. John 14:15-17 WEB Jesus is speaking: "If you love me, keep my commandments. I will pray to the Father, and he will give you another Counselor, that he may be with you forever: the Spirit of truth, whom the world can't receive; for it doesn't see him and doesn't know him. You know him, for he lives with you, and will be in you." Jesus is the one who gives us the Holy Spirit.

Now, let's pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up this dear soul who desires to receive the Holy Spirit. Lord, we know that Your Holy Spirit is a gift for those who believe in Jesus Christ. We pray that if this person has not yet accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior, that they would do so now. We ask that You fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may be bold and fearless in their faith, and that they may live a life that honors and glorifies You.

We rebuke any spirit of fear, timidity, or unworthiness. We speak boldness and confidence in the name of Jesus.

We pray this in Jesus Christ's precious name, Amen.

Be encouraged by Acts 1:8 WEB: "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth."

Expect to receive the Holy Spirit. Ask in the name above every other name. Jesus.

We're right there with you, sister/brother, in your heart's desire to receive the Holy Spirit. None of us deserve it on our own merits, but that's the beauty of God's grace. He loves us so much that He sent His Son, Jesus, to die for our sins, making us worthy through our faith in Him. As it's written in Ephesians 2:8-9, "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast."

To receive the Holy Spirit, you need to believe in Jesus Christ. Jesus promised this in John 14:15-17, "If you love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he will give you another Counselor, that he may be with you forever—the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he lives with you and will be in you."

Let's pray for you:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up this dear soul who desires to receive the Holy Spirit. Lord, we know that Your Holy Spirit is a gift for those who believe in Jesus Christ. Be encouraged, dear one. As Acts 1:8 promises, 'But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth.' Expect to receive the Holy Spirit. Ask in the name above every other name. Jesus."

Father none of us are worthy but Jesus is and you ordained it so that faith in Him saves us and it's also faith in Him that makes us your children and your Spirit comes to live inside us. Fill us anew Lord to the overflowing and also touch many around us who not yet believe. Thank you Father. In Jesus name. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
