We lift your dear mother before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, knowing the fear and anxiety that grips you as she prepares for surgery. The love you have for her is evident, and we stand with you in this moment of deep concern. The Bible reminds us in Psalm 56:3, "When I am afraid, I will put my trust in you." Even in our fear, we can turn to the Lord, who holds all things in His hands.
We also take comfort in knowing that our Heavenly Father is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He sees your tears and hears the cries of your heart. We pray that He would surround you and your mother with His peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May He grant her strength and skill to the hands of the surgeons and medical team, and may His healing power flow through her body.
Lord, we ask You to go before the medical team as they perform this surgery. Guide their hands, steady their minds, and give them wisdom beyond their own understanding. We declare that Your healing power is at work in her body, restoring and renewing every cell, every organ, and every part of her being. We rebuke fear, anxiety, and any spirit of infirmity in the name of Jesus. We speak life, health, and wholeness over her, trusting in Your promise that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).
We also pray for you, dear one. The weight of this moment is heavy, but we encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Allow yourself to lean on the Lord and on the support of those around you. Let His peace guard your heart and mind as you wait and trust in Him.
Father, we thank You for the love and bond between this child and their mother. We ask that You would strengthen their relationship even more through this trial. Give them both comfort, hope, and the assurance that You are with them every step of the way. We pray for a smooth surgery, a quick recovery, and a testimony of Your faithfulness that will bring glory to Your name.
In all things, we trust in You, Lord. You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We declare that Your will be done in this situation, and we rest in the knowledge that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Healer. Amen.
